@Mrs_Salad_Dodger another one to include for the 2024 decluttering challenge. Might do a few months no buy at the start of the year. I managed 3 months Jan - March then it all went wrong and bought lots. Only 2 working days left week and 2 after Christmas and that's me done!

Hello lovely people!
Mrs SD def count me in for next year! I think I’ll aim for 500 items and see how we go….
i was off today (leave booked) and so glad I did that.
Friday night was the work do which was brilliant! I ended up driving but as I’m not bothered about drinking that didn’t matter although trying to find my friends house when Google maps point blankly refused to work got me in a bit of a tiz. 

Sat was the annual family function. How lovely! I hear you all cry! No it wasn’t apart from the little ones getting all excited ……. Very intense for me, a huge toxic undercurrent, got caught up in traffic so was really late (luckily hubby rang to say I was stuck as there had been an accident holding everything up),  some had been drinking since the morning (I got there lunchtime) and OMG I was soooooo tired when I got home. Quite a few acidic comments made about various things. It wears me out. Slept all day yesterday……

Can we declutter family?

I'll definitely join for 2024 please. I have decluttered quite a bit this year but still more to do.
I emailed a charity with photos of a sideboard and they are interested but can't collect till next year so I've said I'll wait till then.
I've just decluttered my last evening meeting of the year but still 4 more days in work.

Dropped off 2 bags at cs with a plant pot  and 3 party clothes added but everything else counted I think!

Yes, I'll be in for 2024 but will continue posting 2023 totals till New Year's Eve as is my custom. I'll not be doing anything that looks remotely like work, housework or laundry on New Year's Day    Inevitably, I still have 9 shifts to work before the end of the year.
4485-4498: 14 GB data deleted.
4499-4501: 150 emails deleted
4502: Leaflets from communal hallway to recycling
4503-4504: 2 boxes of paper recycling to the downstairs bin
4505-4538: items to bin
4539-4576: items to recycling
4577-4580: packs of teacakes and snowballs to work in lieu of cards.

Hi all, yawning my head off as I type
Went to OHs house to collect post but the front garden was in a right mess after the high winds with all kinds of rubbish blown in so I cleared 2 bin bags of crisp bags, plastic bottles, bits of paper, leaves, twigs, a broken umbrella and a large piece of polystyrene and then did some weeding. Meanwhile OH was changing the batteries in the heating control and trying to sort out a new lightbulb and fix a fuse that had blown. Couldn't find the light bulbs so OH will have to go back to sort that with a bulb from my stash. It was dark by the time we came away. OH had written 2 cards for neighbours so they were delivered .
Here I have sorted out the washing OH left in the machine and another load onto the maiden and various other places to dry after 2 loads were put away. Also continued to whizz around the lr and kitchen throwing bits of rubble into the bin or recycling so the kitchen bin was emptied and the lr bin emptied again. 2 cardboard boxes from deliveries into the recycling bin rather than being kept for Justin

Sorry I have not caught up yet but will try to before I fall asleep but will say hugs to anybody who would like one
