I thought maybe it was a dog with very thick fur if it was left outside at night. It still could at risk from predators if in the US.
One of neighbours left a greyhound with puppies outside in winter and another neighbour "stole" them and took them to be rescued.2025 GOALS

Morning all - another dreary looking day here. DS1 and DD seem to be travelling for work all over the place at the moment so a bit envious.
1621 Radiator given second coat.
1622 DS2 did a few odds and ends then moved furniture into bedroom 4 - she can sort her stuff on Thursday. Expensive bed frame is decidedly bent and mattress not wearing well.
1623 Gloves in CS bag (too tight) - 2 new pairs purchased
1624 M&S birthday vouchers used up on new handbag and thermals for winter holiday
1625 Emails answered, cleared, filed etc
1626 Unsubscribed to an email for late DH. From a Portuguese hotel - our last overseas trip was to Portugal and he has been gone 5 years in November.
Right time to get dressed and do things. Not planning to go out today if I can help it. Large bag of plastics ready for SM but I will do that tomorrow as I am out anyway. Still some frogs that need attending to.2025 Decluttering Campaign 648/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

Morning all
Just back from dropping two little hogs off at my rescue. We finally caught them last night. Only 300g but other than that very lively. 😍 my hogs.20 -
Bonjour, I am back from Paris. Intense and very tiring but a lovely time had by all. Hats off to Dil and DS for even contemplating taking a 10 week old baby abroad. Rugby was ace, Paris was ace, much cleaner than the last time I was there and I am a total convert to the eurostar train. If I lived in London I would be whizzing to Paris all the time. I really enjoyed using my schoolgirl French. Vegan food was a bit hard to find, though we accidentally found a vegetarian and vegan restaurant near the Notre Dame. After the meal we were asked if we wanted coffee. I asked if they had oat milk,Hahahaha it was a step too far! I was contemptuously told no!
As usual for me life was very full on before we went away, DSS 40th birthday,DD1's travel cancellations and an unscheduled trip to Luton to collect DD1's BF. His flight from Seville was cancelled and rescheduled to Luton instead of Manchester. He had gone to Seville last minute to watch football,as you do! On the way south the next day we took DD and all her boxes of stuff to her house in Sheffield. Also palmed off a lot of cleaning materials and vacuum bags to her. Yes!!
Life should calm down now. I hope. I have made a list of short term and long term jobs. First one is to restore the new to me drawers for the spare room to store my craft stuff. Drawers awaiting my attention in the kitchen.
I am using up lots of craft stuff on makes for the village Christmas fair. I have also nearly finished a crochet blanket for DIL's Mum. She was admiring a blanket I made for the baby. It just so happened I found a half made blanket in my UFO's. The poor lady does not enjoy good health and is always cold, I hope she likes it. Someone asked how to save Mrs SD's knitting pattern. I took a screen shot on my phone. I am sure there are much better ways than that but that way seemed easiest to a technophobe like me.
I have read along and congratulated, agreed with and commiserated with you all. Bit by bit is also manic busy as usual with her family, we hope to meet up next week.
I have had a phone call from the GP. My pulse is extremely slow which is possibly the cause of my fainting and dizziness. I am also low in iron and have a slightly raised cholesterol level. Inherited, thanks Dad. Tablets and review in 6 months.
New total 1167 includes over 2,500 emails deleted, unsubscribed, counted as one because it took a while.also counted as 1, hundreds of photo's deleted from my phone.
I am so looking forward to a period of calm, no workmen, no kids travel plans going askew. I will bunker down in the house now for a period of hygge.I will have the time to do my projects and sort out the kitchen cupboards.

Good afternoon. Tuesday is a damp overcast day. Received a call from the surgery about booking a blood test & BP check which I very politely declined until next year. This led to the young lady becoming quite ‘insistent’ about booking me in, then insisting that I have a telephone consultation with a doctor as apparently it was urgent that I have a blood test 🤔 Bearing in mind I have not contacted the doctor for anything it rather smacked of mistruths & bullying, so I dug my heels in & declined again. Yes, I will phone after Christmas, but I will not be harangued/bullied by anyone. So a bad start to my day & now need to get my BP down so I will need a little time in the TLC Carriage………………..
Meanwhile I will try to catch up on the cheerleading
2Scratters, I am very impressed that the ‘task’ of retrieving a couple of almost completed crochet blankets from the loft led to such a busy, productive & successful Sunday 👏
Great work Moorviews 👏 Good luck with the sweater drawer decluttering 🍀
Liverpool_Anne, I hope yesterday’s shopping trip was successful 🤞
Wednesday2000, sounds like you have a busy day planned 😊 Hopefully your cats will enjoy their luxurious accommodation 😉 & you will enjoy your manicure 😊
Foofoopuppy, congratulations on losing weight 🥳 It sounds like a great plan to not only curb any overspending but also as an aid to decluttering excess clothing 👏 Good luck 🍀
Brie, that sounds like a lot of work to get done in 90 minutes 😮 However, I think that as you have made such a thorough plan you will be successful 😊 ………… Sounds like the table in the garage was rather more full than you expected 😉 Wow, that is a lot of jewellery boxes 😅such a shame that they have been nibbled at by the mice 😔
QueenJess, fingers crossed that everyone turned up today & that everything listed on Buy Nothing has been collected 🤞 Excellent decluttering 👏 & well done on getting the freezer contents used up so quickly 😊 At that rate you will have an empty freezer quite quickly 🥳
Madbat60, sounds like you made good use of time spent at home avoiding the rain 😊 It also sounds like you have decluttered so well that you now have the time to craft & be creative 👏😊 Good luck with your continuing declutter of the freezer contents 🍀
Excellent decluttering Happy_Kitties 👏
flamingo747, not stalled - just regrouping & marshalling your energy for a final push before Christmas 😊 Fingers crossed that the mattress is delivered before Christmas 🤞
Liverpool_Anne, a reasonably successful shopping trip especially if you can get OH’s jeans ordered online 👏 Fingers crossed that you managed to free up space on the maiden 🤞
Floss, interesting information 🤔 I am quite willing to suspend belief when it comes to test results however more concerned/annoyed by the ridiculous plots where the main characters seem to spend more time investigating crimes than doing autopsies 😔 I will persevere though as I am now on Series 22 😉
Wednesday2000, I hope you enjoyed your first experience of a manicure 😊 I think a summer house sounds like a more pleasant location to have a manicure rather than a shop window with people looking in at you 😉 Well done on getting some decluttering done & finding at least some of the missing coat hangers before you went out 👏
Excellent work decluttering the craft shed, Soontobeoap 👏 I am awarding you a medal 🏅 for the decluttering & for bringing a smile to my face with the idea of you having “detachment issues” 😊
I have caught up a couple more pages & my blood pressure has settled after this morning’s phone call 😉 I will see you later 👋 I hope everyone is having a good day & that you are all stocked up for the ‘trick or treat’ invasion tonight 😅

@Mrs_Salad_Dodger - I don't blame you for being annoyed, since when do the medical profession get to dictate to you!!?? 🤬 it's not a surprise that the NHS is struggling when they are insisting that unnecessary tests are completed just so they can hit targets/quotas 🤦♀️ glad that you've started to feel better this afternoon!
I managed to get 9 of my demijohns to the charity shops - only another 17 to go I think!! 🙄😂 I've also decided on what to do with the sack of buckwheat that I have under the stairs...dh doesn't mind it but prefers other grains and it's getting to the point where its going to be stale soon so I've checked on the internet and it's safe to use as wild bird food 🙌 I'll mix it in with the stuff I buy so it will save me a lot of cash and declutter more from the house - a win win situation!! 😁DNF: £708.92/£1000
