I feel your pain re the 2 step security. I have that problem when I'm travelling to Canada as I refuse to pay the extortionate charges to use my normal mobile number from the UK. Works out at about £8/$12 a day!! Plus call charges!!! I asked my bank about this before I travelled recently and they had no solution. We do have pin sentries in the UK which do some security for bank accounts and of course the banks are pushing to have those on our mobiles to save them the cost of supplying these little calculator devices (which I agree must be expensive).
You might check if you can register your email address rather than a phone number. I have a work system that has my user name and password and the second step of security is to send the code to my registered work email address.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. I'm still very tired, which makes me stressed because I can't actually remember what needs to be done. Whilst DD was asleep and my parents are entertaining DS, I tried to blast through a big bunch of things. I've ordered DS the rest of his xmas presents I've been researching for months, sorted out my car insurance (a pet hate), ordered a fold out bed we need for Xmas guests, decluttered a pile of DD's toys/books, pulled out the charity box and packaged it all up for DH to take for posting tomorrow and listed a big bunch of things on Buy Nothing. Will select some people later and try to get through some digital decluttering. Just doing 10-20 mins of digital decluttering a day (basically I just stop when I get bored, which is very fast, as everything seems to take an age and I am pretty good with digital stuff).Parents have brought up a pile of books, but also a whole bunch of other things I didn't know they were going to bring...
I've shoved it all in my library which is horribly cluttered now and will get round to it whenever I can face it. Need to shelve these kinds of tasks and get on with job hunting tomorrow.

TC77 said:I read that vogue (or one writer) suggest 74 items of clothing with 20 outfits is sufficient (I assume excludes underwear and nightwear) and reading another simple life post. So up and took out glasses from cupboard, decided a nice weight and others I thought I'd wait and see if I use at Xmas. Have some vintage flowery teacups (1910/20) which I will see if posh CS wants. Got out my dad's heavy 1980s Jones sewing machine to pass on but realise I don't know where instructions are so that's away again!!
Did drop off ink cartridges and out of date covid tests yesteday ( too easy to forget)

@dND that is such a kind offer! I am hoping I find them by then! It's all tucked away at the moment. I hope your move goes as well as it can.
New phone set up but very long calls (45min) with bank to try and get mobile app work!
Have parcels ready to drop off on way to work.
Trying to get paperwork in order so hope of doing tax after minor op next month when I think I'll be off work for 2 weeks. Although I may just sleep.
Sorry to hear about those exhausted and poorly.13 -
Pics of before and after the clothes dye for people who are interested.☺️ I dyed another top more red as I had to have the washing machine on. The white jacket looks white in the first pic but it did have yellow stains. I think it looks much better now. A very MSE way to freshen up clothing.

They've dyed really well did you do them in the washing machine ? I've always been too wary of doing it.15

Did a bit of decluttering last week but not much to write home about - cleared some kitchen bits that were well out of date and filled some of the space with my spares from the dining room.

Today hubby was looking for our scales as he wanted to know his weight! He thought they were in the cupboard under the stairs, they were not, but we have cleared 2 binliners of rubbish, and have 3 carrier bags of donations for charity all in the back of my car to take to the salvation army oppersite Sainsbury's on my day off when I do my shop. We now have reduced the contents of the cupboard under the stairs to 20% of it's original contents! I am supprised we got rid of so much, as hubby is a hoarder, he was trying to stuff things into the cupboard that I was trying to donate!!
I found my mum's staple gun that I,forgot my dad gave me why when we cleared her stuff, just 2 days ago I was emailed by another volenteer from our kids group at church saying we need a staple gun, we now have one from my decluttering and long with a few more bits and bobs.
I think hubby only let staple gun and craft bits go into the church bag go as they are bits we can borrow back if we need to!
We eventually found the scales behind the TV!!Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"15 -
