My workmen will have finished their bit today. Still to come, plasterer, electrician and joiner. I know what you mean when you say you feel like you should be helping them. I don't like the disruption but short term pain for long term gain. I can't realistically see that all the trades will be finished this week. It always takes longer than expected.Forgotten how you miss a comfy chair. Like when you go camping. Back in the day I used to sit in the car for some comfort.
I feel dreadful, didn't sleep so haven't gone to see MIL. I am camped out in bed with 2 cats. I am trying not to sleep so I sleep tonight.
All that emotion yesterday and my Mother phones on her mobile this morning, full of the joys of Spring !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't wait to get the sitting room put back together. When it happens I will go through everything and am sure I will find something to evict. I have 2 sets of drawers that will be my first targets.

@Wednesday20 - I like the irony of the Spare spare.
Very pleased with myself as I tackled a frog I have been avoiding since Christmas. I have some symptoms I know I should get checked out - never normally ill and actually feel fine. Anyway I got on to the online system attached to surgery - filled in form - I now have telephone appointment with nurse practitioner for tomorrow. Pleased now I've done it.

Good afternoon all.
one box and 2 bags of household items taken to charity shop.A couple of things listed on fleabay.
keeping up with daily hoovering downstairs and steam cleaned the floor in the kitchen. @StickyTheStickInsect I haven’t managed to break my steam cleaner Kercher yet - I love the results but I don’t use it often enough!Have sorted one shelf in the pantry cupboard, there are many more shelves in need of organisation.
cleared out the clutter from my bedside table, more paper recycling and started a new charity bag with costume jewellery I never wear.
I still have a jewellery box full of stuff I never wear, thinking of saving it for when LO is a bit older. saying that, some of it was my Grandmother’s and so it’s been passed down twice already and never worn. Will have a think about it.20 -
Hello! Gosh so much decluttering going on! Well done everyone.
I’ve decluttered my work for the week so have had a productive day so far.Sorted out top shelf of airing cupboard so I’ve a bagful of duvet sets for charity shop. I think most of them were bought in charity shops either here or in Australia but I’ve a coloured bed head now and many didn’t match…or are white and my dog is brown 😆 been on the mental to do list so I feel like that’s a big tick ✅ . They are at front door awaiting to go into the car. Plan is to take to charity shop tomorrow.Went through some of mums jewellery boxes. She had so much jewellery! A lot just costume so I’ve selected some stuff that I just won’t ever use & nor would my daughters. So that’s in another bag for charity shop.Friend was over for dinner last night so she went home with cheese and olives and sun dried tomatoes and grapes! Still in date and I won’t use them so I’m happy they went to a good home! And I’ve just listed three big items on local FB page which will hopefully be picked up. One was free to me and the others have been listed for sale but haven’t sold so if someone local would like them, great! If not I’ll donate to charity.18 -
Took a trolley full and 2 more bags to charity shop
bought a new bottom sheet so 2 going for dust sheet use
book finished so daughter can take to library tomorrow as it’s at her school
new washer delivered and old one took away, expensive but I knew we couldn’t get them in and out so had no choice 🤷♀️
anyone have a dog that attacks the hoover and gave any advice on how to stop it? I don’t hoover often enough due to this and ironically I’m drowning in dog hair when I don’t 😂19 -

Thank you very very much Mrs SD for your cheerleading
I have to visit the TLC carriage. After a very productive cleaning morning I received an unxepected official parcel which dropped my mood like a lead balloon. So I have been out for a long walk in the rain and settling in for an evening of self care
