1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Hope everyone is OK 👌 All I can think is that my fellow declutterati were all too busy to post 😉 I finished the 2nd scarf & have started on a third 😊 DSis & I were rather annoyed at the judges scoring on Strictly 😖 Dinner was oven chips, baked beans & gammon for DSis, added a fried egg for DH but I had an egg instead of gammon. Wudupa.

Those scarves are beautiful Mrs SD! I am very impressed with your knitting skill for more complicated patterns and the speed of completion. It takes me months, or even years, to finish knitting something.15

The thread has still been moving so fast.
Haven't had chance to catch up-RL getting in the way but I’ve still tried to declutter where I can
*279-282. Old phones x 4 hanging around the house for a few years, I took them to the local phone shop for recycling if they could not be sold. They did buy them, didn’t offer much but it was something donated to charity and they are out of the house.*283 Another broken mug, bounced down the stairs quicker than the stairlift!*284-290 presents x 7 dropped off yesterday. Nice to see the desk upstairs clear again.
*291-293 items x 3 out of DDs room and into recycling
*294-302 items x 9 dropped off for DD yesterday including an early Christmas present for her padded out in one of the lovely Christmas boxes I picked up very cheap post Christmas. With DD being ruthless with budgeting she will reuse the box so will def get my monies worth from that box
*303 lots of cardboard out of the house
*304 while looking for something else I got rid of a lot of paperwork. Very happy with this.
Have also cleared and cleaned the first freezer drawer, slowly running down ready to stock up for Christmas. I have a ‘F@@d Warehouse’ in the next town, very spacious and much better for a wheelchair so have been topping up my Iceland card ready to get some things from the store

Love the scarves @Mrs_Salad_Dodger!! Very impressed!!! 👏😁
Well, the wine has been tested and all I can say is 🤢🤮🙄🤦♀️ they have been disposed of down the sink - I just hope they're not toxic to aquatic life!! 😂
Freezer inventory has been done - 11 boxes of UFO's (unidentified freezer objects) so we shall do two boxes a week until we get through them - hopefully there's nothing too random and I will be able to add stuff to adapt the flavours if we open two of the same stuff on any given week 😉 I'm doing a menu plan today so that i can use up what is in the freezers and save money buying more stuff - I think we will probably have them empty by the end of the year (exactly 10 weeks away!! 😳) and then they can be defrosted and refilled with the bargin veg the supermarkets do during the chrimbo period!
Tomorrow I will start taking the demijohns to their new homes, and may tackle what remains in the understair cupboard in case there is stuff in there that can go to the CS....
I'm feeling quite motivated at the moment - probably because my 'new year' starts at the astronomical midway point between the autumn equinox and the winter solstice which is on 7th November this year so only 16 days away and I like to get everything organised/sorted/planned before I have a reset...fingers crossed that I can keep the momentum going!! 🤞

@leftatthetrafficlights I have several foil dishes of UFOs - I took the lid off one yesterday & it had grated cheese on top of mashed potato, so I think they're either fish pie or cottage pie 🤷♀️ but at least I know they're not rhubarb crumble 🤣2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

A little bit of food using up to declare. Progress is definitely being made, but still lots to go as the freezer is still more than half full
(it started out completely rammed with us not being able to get a single thing into it and it's a chest freezer!). I've almost completely cleared the fridge prior to a few days away though.
Been trying to declutter my parents loft remotely so they only bring up what we can use. They sent me a zillion photos that I've been through and commented on. I foresee boxes of books for the kids in my very near future, although I am forever encouraging DS to read and I'll try any books to find the ones that works for him as he's picky! Worst case scenario is they go into my loft for DD until she's older and then go to the charity if she doesn't like them. Also some games coming my way, but I am happy to make space to play games together as a family which I enjoy.I'm still enjoying the decluttered cleaning cupboard and it makes me smile every time I open it.33,639-33,641 - cupboard overstock used up

Thats an interesting concept leftatthetrafficlights, is there something that goes along with this or just something you do? Just curious, you don't have to go into detail if you don't want to
