Hi, we had a lovely time yesterday. We got a birthday present for DIL and for me an essential glittering pumpkin hand soap dispenser! On to Port sunlight as we had never been, through the Mersey tunnel into Liverpool before going home.Today I have been to my Mum’s and taken a car full of stuff from my Dad’s wardrobe for her to look through. Photos etc. she had sorted the stuff we took her last time. A big box for the charity shop tomorrow. I have put a few things in the bin. I don’t think anyone would want an appliqué butterfly picture that I made when I was 10.Thank you for the update Siebrie. Let’s hope lessons are learned for those involved. ❤️
Mrs SD the basket of ufo’s remains stubbornly full. The past couple of evenings I have been crocheting squares for the second hot water bottle. It takes 30, 5 more to make then making it up. I think it’s a case of over engineering. I hand sewed a pouch out of fleece, then a cotton cover and now a crochet coat. Next is a sashiko quilt. All cut out and pinned, just needs several hundred hours of sewing!
I made a decision about the lamps. I have kept the pair. Also out, a pair of walking boots.Total 1146

Thank you for all the messages about dog1. Not much change. He's enjoying his treats snd has already worked out if he looks at DD2 long enough she says how sad he looks and that he deserves a treat. He's definitely not off his food.
@vulpix just the thought of meadowhell gives me shivers, why on earth someone would want to willingly visit 🤣😂
@Siebrie glad you've got the bullying under control, hopefully that's the end of it. Teenage girls can be horrible to each other (I have 3) and I think the addition of technology means they don't go home and forget about it and all back to friends the next day, the arguments/falling out continues oner phones etc. I lost count of the times I had to remove all 'groups' from the girls phones as the bullying seemed so much worse on the group chats.
There was a lot more I was supposed to reply to but its gone now.
All my plans seem to have gone AWOL the last couple of days, and I have no excuses for it. The only things I seem to have decluttered are the lily in the lounge, tried everything and it still seems to be dying and the dishwasher! First time in over 15 years I've had to wash all tge pots by hand and I am definitely not enjoying it 😆

A final item for me tonight, finished my r-ituals handcream. I have an awful habit of saving my nice toiletries for "special days". But you never know what will happen, so use the treats and let yourself enjoy them in the moment.Married 40y.o. mum of an autistic 11y.o. Carer/SAHM.

@flamingo747 I have saved nice things for best for years and think they may still be with me for years maybe I can be like a pharaoh and take them with me!
I am really going one step at a time, a folder and a large lid from a storage box I no longer have.
Thanks for the reminder SABLE!

Hi all, well reasonable weather here today so 3 LDFPA, admittedly I had to send OH to the bag wash to finish off the jeans in the td but the rest were put on the maiden and were dry in a couple of hours so were sorted earlier. The kitchen recycling and bin were emptied and I dived into my emails and 100 deleted. I should check them every day and keep on top of them but haven't
@Vulpix sorry the weather was so dreadful when you came through Liverpool yesterday, it doesn't look it's best when it's monsooning
@flamingo747, you are right, use the nice things. I am guilty of saving fav hand creams etc and using others first but if I have had a difficult day I will use the good stuff as a pick me so. I have also taken to using perfume every day. I only used to use it for special going out but now I wear it to go to the sm
. As you say you never know what will happen
@Mrs SD, yes I will take a photo of the scrap blanket when it is finished, it shouldn't take long as it will be smaller than the one I made for OH
Right off to bed now as I have a covid booster tomorrow so will have to be up and at emand hopefully I will be collecting the currency for dsis tomorrow. Hugs to everyone who would like one

Morning all
JF told me 5 mins before school that he need to take more things with him that live in the garage! At 6:55am I was not impressed! Did declutter ten bits of debris, so +10. +1 for errand run, +1 for old meds given to pharmacy.
Next jobs are SM, bill paying, and packing. Oh and need to work on banner.Married 40y.o. mum of an autistic 11y.o. Carer/SAHM.

First an apology. I read but don’t always post then when I do I don’t remember to comment on things I wanted to.Charlie’s tribe, your poorly dog was one of the things I didn’t mention. Pets are like one of the family and a worry when they are poorly. Xx
Mrs SD in answer to your question about the competition winning year two’s. They would all be in their 20’s now. We used to call them the university class. They were a joy. I expect they will all have done very well. Some years though were harder. Usually years that were top heavy with boys. You need some bossy girls in the class to sort the lads out!
Flamingo , I remember those ‘ oh I’ve got cookery today, I need a loaf tin and …” at 8am!

Excellent decluttering flamingo747 👏
Lovely to see you sillyvixen 👋 You might not have been posting on the thread but I am almost positive that even if you were not actively decluttering over the last few months you were trying very hard to keep further clutter OUT 😊 It would seem that the stars are aligning - you have a donation hub opposite your sm, your decluttering mojo has returned from its extended holiday & you have decided on a new method of decluttering 😊 You have made an excellent start to your ‘Declutter for Christmas Campaign’ 👏 Congratulations on finding the missing prepaid visa card & how exciting to find even more £££ 🥳 I am looking forward to further updates on your successful decluttering 😊 Remember slow & steady wins the decluttering race 😅
bit_by_bit, no need to apologise for not keeping up with thread - the EDT has picked up speed again (never having really slowed down over the summer 😉) RL has been keeping you busy not only extra childcare, but more gardening & working on the allotment + helping out at the in-laws 👏 I am surprised you find time to sleep 🙂 Hope you have a lovely mini break & also that the weather is kind 😊 I see you have the added bonus of meeting up with vulpix 🥳 Sorry to hear about DD but I am sending many positive vibes & luck that she will find a new job quickly 🍀
Steady decluttering flamingo747 👏 Sorry to hear that you were having anxiety issues on Wednesday night 😔 but hopefully you managed a good night’s sleep 🤞Meanwhile I am sending cwtches 🤗
What a good idea re spare matches weenancy 👏
Liverpool_Anne it sounds like you had a wonderful evening 😊 Nothing wrong with being a dirty stop out especially as you sound invigorated 😅Excellent decluttering 👏 A supportive 2nd half of your post 😊 & hopefully Siebrie’s DD can now enjoy school life 🤞
Siebrie, it sounds like your actions in bringing everything out into the open is having a positive effect which is now cascading down & rippling out 😮💨 Your DD is very brave & hopefully now that the parents & those in authority are aware of the bullying your DD can regain her confidence & start to enjoy school life 🤞 Your discreet chat with a police officer seems to me to be a positive affirmation that you have tackled the bullying in the most effective way 👏
Good luck filling the 2nd drum 🍀
Excellent decluttering GrannyKate 👏
Lovely supportive post Floss 😊

@flamingo747 a timely reminder,to use things not save for best. Certainly perfume and toiletries as they soon expire and don’t smell nice when they have gone off. Clothes and material things go out of fashion and deteriorate too. So use those pretty china cups and good leather handbags we are worth it!Wishing everyone a lovely weekend,Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.14
