Yesterday I managed to declutter housework and a load of washing that's still drying, plus a load of dry load into the wardrobe.
I'm hoping that it will be dry next week to cut the grass and possibly empty one composter into another.
The lawn needs a good scarification, de-weeding, leveling plus seeding in places and the 2 small beds need to be worked on too, so long term frogs I guess.
Homework/study for math's gcse is a work in progress.
Physio session decluttered today and excersises to add to the list of things I need to do each day.
Sorry to hear that people are struggling and the poorly dog.

Not much done today, but I did hang the hook back up on DS's door that had dropped off. More work needs to be done in the kids rooms (clothes and toys getting messy and out of hand again), sorting of the library and clearing down of food stores in the kitchen. I did also order DS a simple fabric thingy to pin his badges to that I can hang on the side of his bookshelves so they won't be cluttering up the place anymore and I've been looking at buying a couple of boxes to slide into DD's furniture to better store her toys (will think about them for a bit before ordering).Slow progress, but still progress and a little bit of tidying done. Refusing to waste more energy thinking about silly work things as I just need a break. Investigations into potential job opportunities are ongoing.33,517-33,518 - paper (reused, then recycled)Edit: Also went through DS's paperwork with him, so a bit more to declare and I'm looking into getting him some string and little pegs to hang up his pictures on the wall.33,519-33,535 - DS paperwork (recycled)2025 decluttering: 3,896🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

Evening all. Quick post but will try and catch up tomorrow. Many thanks Mrs SD for the stars and I will look after neighbours medal for him. Started day by taking GCs to school then came home for breakfast. Went back to town (5 miles) and discovered I hadn't got my phone which has my bank cards with it. Came home again and eventually got to Mr A for shopping about 3 hours later than I intended.
1366-1370 DGS4 agreed to part with 5 jigsaws for CS - still about 12 left.

Evening everyone
Can't remember when I last posted - been busy with RL plus had a lovely weekend in Krakow.
I've declutted covid at last thank goodness!
Also took 4 dining chairs to the tip, I tried to give them away but no luck - so the wooden frames went in the wood recycling and just the seat pads were thrown away.
I dropped off one bag at the CS.
I've sorted one kitchen cupboard, now clean and organised and some OOD food has been binned.
Love to all

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Monday is another lovely day - sunshine & heat maximum 24C 🌞 I was up & dressed by 10:00 & having my first cuppa. Watched a few episodes of Silent Witness. DH went out at 13:30 to get his Covid jab. Once he was back I headed off to the bank. I was the only person wearing a mask on the bus & indoors 🤔 Banked last month’s cheques from ERNIE & got some cash from the ATM. Including an 8 minute wait in the bank & a 15 minute wait for the bus home I was out for just over an hour 🙂 One frog dealt with 😉 DH did some work in the back garden - trimmed our hedges, some strimming & some weeding 👏 DH & I then both appear to have napped for the rest of the afternoon 🙊 Dinner was a repeat of last night - brisket with barbecue sauce, mash & broccoli with the addition of peas. Wudupa.
2113 - 2118 Kitchen recycling, booklet, plastic bottle, glass jar, metal coffee tin, cardboard tube - recycled
2119 Kitchen detritus binned
Wednesday2000, well done on sorting out your wardrobe in just over an hour 👏 as well as doing the dusting & emptying the bedside table 👏 Excellent decluttering 👏 Sorry to hear that your husband has been off work for a month - I hope he is OK 🤞 Just reading your tale of the apple made me go green at the gills 🤢 so I really cannot imagine how you felt. Fingers crossed that the work bag is OK 🤞Good luck with your husband’s wardrobe 🍀

+2 for Bins and Recycling put out, also put out fave neighbour who is moving's bins and recycling, but I don't think other people's decluttering counts! This means I have hit 500 in a month, I'm pleased with this, though I am sure there's more that could go I definitely notice the difference both in what I have and what I acquire. I even went to a CS where my SIL wanted to buy me things but saw nothing I loved enough so picked up nothing. Rule 1: if you don't urgently need it, or haven't fallen madly in love with it, leave it for someone who will.
Today looks like Coffee And Craft session this morning (complete with passing in a bag of outgrown kids clothes to a friend), a quick tidy around, half load of washing for uniforms. Finish curtain hanging. Trip to Mr T to replace cheese slices that have been snacked on and burger buns that have gone off (meal plan went wonky with unexpected in law visit on sat).
Have a good day everyoneMarried 40y.o. mum of an autistic 11y.o. Carer/SAHM.

I filled 1 of the olive drums! To give you an idea of the size: I put in (at least) 4 moving boxes of clothes, 2 bin bags of clothes, a beamer, 15 computer chargers, a large paper bag with colouring pencils, 2 dolls, 3 winter coats, and 7 pairs of shoes.

Hi all, managed to get 1 LDFPA but still 1 load drying. Not much else done yesterday. Having my 2 nd cuppa and listening to local radio. As we have a political party conference going on here lots being reported from that. 1 thing that struck me was the proposal to cure the dental crisis by having supervised teeth brushing in school struck me as particularly insane. Can you imagine a class of 30 tinies, average 5 minutes per child to put toothpaste on to the brush, brush for 2 minutes then clean the sink for the next child. That is 2.5 hours a day. Plus all the time spent making sure each child has their own toothbrush and toothpaste. Even if you take more than 1 child at a time you could only take 1 per sink so what are the rest of the class doing meanwhile, who is supervising them. Meanwhile the next class is waiting to get into the toilets to clean their teeth. Considering that there is constant pressure to spend time on teaching and learning and pressure to fit everything into the school day not to mention financial pressure which would probably not allow for extra staff to be employed to do this I can't see it being possible. Not to mention what to do about those pupils who don't bring a toothbrush and toothpaste into school. It might in theory sound like a good idea but the practicality of it would be a nightmare. You can see these politicians have never supervised even their own children doing this task never mind 30. Rant over, sorry
Not sure what I will do today but hopefully something will be done
@Brie, yes going over the edge is the tricky bit
Hugs to everyone who would like one
1346 LDFPA last night
Take care everyone

Hahaha, my thoughts exactly Liverpool Anne about teeth cleaning at school. As someone who has worked in reception and KS1 for a long time I think it is a bonkers idea. Teachers have enough to do. Hand washing before lunch takes up valuable classroom time. Essential but so many children start school who have never learnt to wash their hands or even go to the toilet, dress themselves, use cutlery etc, etc. stepping off the soap box now. I think teeth cleaning could be easier included in the nursery syllabus as they have a higher staff child ratio. , I don’t know, sorry nursery workers, I am not qualified to volunteer you for the extra work.My greater concern is obesity. It has been the government’s concern for years. No one has the answer. I may have told you before but years ago I won a national cooking competition with my Year ones, against GCSE applicants. We went to London for prize giving by Jamie Oliver. I got chatting to a lady in the loo who was a minister for agriculture and fisheries. It was she who was telling me about the projected obesity rates and the strain on the NHS.Sorry, didn’t come to say all that, it just slipped out!
I did come to update numbers. Another box gone, beautiful hand embroidered tablecloths made by my Mum. 2 king size duvet covers and pillow cases, a large Persian carpet cushion.Liverpool Anne, I got the knitting pattern from MSE, a lady posted it years ago on a thread I used to frequent. I have found similar free patterns on Pinterest after searching for Cloud slippers. I got my wool from Aldi last year. A large ball makes 5 pairs. I think it cost about £4 at the time. Aldi often repeat their offers.Total 1144
