Doorstep primed for repainting tomorrow. DSis has done a lovely job of mist coating the hall, stairs and landing over the past couple of days.Found a couple of bits for the charity bag.Tried a new recipe in the slow cooke, it was a chicken pilaf. The rice came out a little pudding-y so will try cooking it for a little less time, maybe 2hrs 15 instead of 2hrs .30. Overall very tasty though.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

@nannywindow awful to hear about ur niece, sending condolences
@weenancyinAmerica don’t overdo it as u will set urself backwards from someone that knows! Seriously I hope u are beginning to feel better or at least semi human as my doctor would say.
Well neutral items went today in preparation for Christmas. Have a few bits left for this particular charity but not much. Whether I will be able to pull off the same bargains for them again this Christmas ready for next Christmas I don’t know but I will give it my best shot and storage box will be empty of presents ready for new charity items
Neutral items 182+ 193 = 375 items donated to charity
General decluttering
*258 tin that contained buttons that went in the charity bag yesterday-popped into recycling bins
*259 scarf donated with the charity items
*260- 265 charity shoeboxes x 6 dropped off.
will be definitely dusting and hoovering tomorrow.Decluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Am up today - thanks to a hungry cat who started waking me up at 5:30 - earlier than usual. I think they have already gone on winter clock time. I am still miserable but managed to have scrambled egg this morning after I had: fed the three cats (who eat in three different places since the indoor two aren't speaking and the other is outside), fed the dog and cleaned up her bowls from the last three days, got the dogs toys out of the pool without falling in - though almost did, moved and packed a box of books, cleared out a stack of papers, found the bill to pay and got the check written (almost the only check I write any more and it is only once a year). Still don't know what to do about the car window. I'll figure that out later. Managed to clear out 100 emails plus, but couldn't face the FaceBook pages yet. Made tea and then cam on here.
@Vulpix - sending good thoughts and hugs for you and Mr. V.

Evening all.
@vulpix sorry I missed your post earlier. Thinking of you and Mr V.
@Floss thank you, it's Holywell bay, near Newquay in Cornwall. We haven't been abroad due to DS2 needs but seem to end up in this area every year as the children love it.
Not much done today. Have done and dried lots of washing but had DGD1 this afternoon, she has so much energy. I did clear out the fridge while DH made the chicken tikka, just some shrivelled grapes in there. DH took down the hall and landing thin curtains and replaced them with the thicker ones after dusting the poles. The thin ones are now in the washer.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Well I have been very busy these past 2 days! Yesterday as well as work I had the dentist, picked up stuff from the chemist, collected Drama Queens fit note from the dr and ordered and collected a load of dog food. I feed the dogs raw and supplement with fibre and salmon oil.
Today I went for my flu jab, got the car washed (parking is hit and miss where I am so sometimes I have to park under a tree and get bombarded) did some washing, tidied up bedroom, made some more snowflakes, hoovered upstairs and then spent lots of time in the garden! Decluttered 2 episodes of Gardeners World and groomed dogs at same time. I’ve done well!!!!
and get this - Drama Queen has now been reinstalled as hubby and has made a start on a ROD!!!!!!!!
will post pics of snowflakes in a mo…⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering

We were out for 7 hours - getting to and from the BBQ plus being there. I was on teas and coffees plus helping with food - also assisting older folk with the steps in the house.
As soon as we got home - it was time to go round to SA to take in a delivery from M & S.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Mr V had what we thought was a follow up from his hospital stay before our holiday. No. They did scans at the time and found cancer in his kidney. We are not telling DD2 atm as her Mum died from cancer when she was 6 and then I had breast cancer a few years ago too. There will be treatments but we intend to just carry on as usual as we did for me.So apart from trying to accommodate all this new stuff we will elegantly potter at home when Mr V comes home from work.Sorry that the photo has popped up in the middle!Vx15 -
Thank you chums, you are all just lovely.Daisy, it’s a lovely thing you are doing for your little cat. ❤️ I lived in Edinburgh for a five month university placement. I often went to your neck of the woods on a Sunday afternoon for a stroll and an ice cream.Florenceem, the cabbage patch dolls are mine! Bought from car boot sales. I can’t part with them just yet. I used them working with children to improve their speaking and listening skills.Much has been wrangled today. Both bedrooms are almost tidy. Much has / will be leaving the premises.I have said it before and I will say it again, I WILL streamline our belongings. They WILL fit comfortably into this house! A few things I will keep a while longer in case I can pass them on to my grandson when he is older. Eg rag dolls I made when I was about 18 and a lovely dolls house. Excess bedding is in my sights tomorrow.New number 981. Unbelievable as I thought I had already decluttered to the bare bones.Vx:16
