1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Wednesday was another hot sunny day 👏 I did nothing apart from knitting another scarf
& watching a few more episodes of Spooks. DSis had an appointment at the doctors. DH did a bit of work on the Goldwing + trimmed our front hedge. Dinner was different for all 3 of us - DH had the 2nd half of his Chinese, DSis had chips & cold meat, I had cheesy beans on toast. Wudupa.

Morning all. @Liverpool_Anne - totally agree with you about ironing. Late DH liked ironing and probably did 90% the last 30 years of his life. This morning I ironed three new school shirts for DGD4 and hung them up. Not done that for years as I rarely iron anything at all. Feels very hot at the moment. Hoping to get on with more proper decluttering and have restarted the weight loss plan.

I am decluttering new doors, hinges, screws and locks today as a carpenter is here. The doors have stood in the large ROD for 10 years!
I am going out to the community shop - hope to get a lettuce and cucumber. I am also popping into a craft stash place in aid of Mencap - just to look! I don't really need anything but if they have lace that I can use on an upcoming project - I will get some.
Finally I will get a bus to the surgery with Mr F's specimen.
I am on locking up duty at SA today and taking in delivery of food from M & S.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Not done much this week due to fatigue. Feeling better today so have made a start on tidying the bedroom as it has become a bit messy recently and as part of that will go through the Mission Control box to see if it can be reduced further. Will report back later.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅16

A good portion of hair decluttered by both me and OH. And a lot of chatter with our hair guy who is so very nice. And he's said he will come over and have a beer or 2 with OH when I temporarily declutter myself across the pond to visit with mom in a week's time.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards. Hello All, I have time to myself today now Dd is finally back in school. Nearly 7 weeks off!
It's been far too hot too declutter. I'm not complaining but it's the humidity that zaps my energy. Had a lovely day trip to the Big Pit this week, much cooler underground!
I am one who still irons and about to crack on with the ironing. I do hang things to dry but some need a quick iron. I wear a lot of cotton / viscose items which naturally crease more. Polyester is fab for not creasing but I am becoming very intolerant of those types of fabrics! 😅 DD is the same.
So ironing and packing for my today. We are off to Devon tomorrow to do the trek on Saturday. Hoping it cools down a bit.15 -
Hello everybody
I've had a cold since finishing work on Monday so I've spent the my 3 days off resting and drinking plenty of water. I also did plenty of laundry but unfortunately when I put it outside yesterday we had a thick mist which never cleared. I think the washing was actually more damp when I got it in 8 hours later but it's hot and sunny today so no doubt drying to a crisp as we speak.
I really fancy going for a paddle but not really up to it so will join others in the TLC carriage, back to work tomorrow and paddle day will be Sunday - another scorcher apparently.
No decluttering but have moved furniture and mopped floor in dining room over 3 days a section at a time, it looks so much better.
Also booked a short break in Canterbury for next month, looks a really lovely place to visit.
Hope those that are feeling poorly improve soon.

33/52 - 2 pairs of quite decent shoes, just not for me, to the charity recycling bin.
34/52 - pair of DH shoes to the bin.
This allowed me to properly clean the shoe rack which was think with stoor from bathroom fitting.17 -
I visited the local scrap store - my first time. They ask for a minimum donation of £5. I was the first one there today and was gathering a basket of lace for my makes. A couple of women turned up - also looking for lace - one was going to take some out of my basket! I looked for white felt and googly eyes too.
No lettuce/cucumber or potatoes at community shop but I got some bits.
Very hot out.
Went to the surgery with Mr F's specimen - I wouldn't be surprised if he has to redo the test - think he didn't do it right.
One door is fitted - the opening is not square so been a problem.
Carpenter is working on the next door.
