Hello lovelies, bit melt y here!
Delcluttered the carp Behind the cooker 😳😳 ~ let's just say it was very over due!
Not much else been happening, very busy with DD she had started some classes in hopes she will be able to sit some gcses next summer. And so far it's been great she was actually able to go in and sit down. Some other parents stay but after the first day I've been told to stay in the car (and melt!! ) so im beginning to think we might just be onto a winner. Finally😎 all crossing of fingers and good vibes accepted🤞💕🤞💕🤞
Apart from the cost and my time this is the best option for her. The County council have been horrendously bad.

No lettuce/cucumber or potatoes at community shop but I got some bits.
Very hot out.
Went to the surgery with Mr F's specimen - I wouldn't be surprised if he has to redo the test - think he didn't do it right.
One door is fitted - the opening is not square so been a problem.

I liked the new episode of Sort Your Life Out. I really laughed at the paint slapper comment! I find it a very uplifting show to watch.🤩
I did just go and rejig the little pantry I have and got rid of some recycling in between watching as I recorded it.2025 GOALS

Hi all, very hot and muggy here all day with rain early morning, must have been carrying dust as the car is a proper mess. So I took a trip to the cs and the shoes and a few other bits I'd put together were dropped off
. We managed a coffee over the fence with ln before she set off on her travels to see her great grandson. The kitchen bin was emptied. I sorted my current handbag, lots of rubbish binned or recycled. I have started to pack for our few days away next week and will have to do some dreaded ironing tomorrow. Only a few bits but as I generally wear cotton things even when they have been folded they do need a quick iron. I have a medical appointment on Monday and OH has a rearranged lesson to teach before we set off so I have a list of what needs to be added to the bag so I will be ready to go asap. I am really looking forward to seeing my niece again
.
I have charged both of the phone power packs as we rely on them for sat nav these days. After tea I hopped over the fence to water ln's pots, baskets and cuttings in the greenhouse as she is away until Monday. Apart from that all I have done today is lounge around and try to catch some of the slight breeze through the open doors and windows.
@Mrs SD, love the scarf, are these for the cs again this year or are they early xmas presents?
@Florenceem, the absolute nerve of that woman, I hope you managed to hold on to everything you wanted.
Well off to bed, hopefully to sleephealing vibes to everyone in the tlc carriage and hugs to anybody who would like one.

Looks ikea I lost my post last night:(
@~FlowerPot~ hope all goes well for your dd.
Added some paper decluttering, filing , fabric and socks etc to make up to 1327 incl 3 items returned.
Work early and watched some of sort your life out! I have piles round the edge of the room and of course in rooms of doom more of the floor covered. Yikes I would not want my stuff on display. Also have long list of small and medium frogs before I get near the big ones!

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Thursday was hot, hot, hot 🥵 Recycling wheelie bin finally emptied after 3 weeks 🥳 - good job too as it was getting rather full 😉 All I did was watch more episodes of Spooks, descale the kettle & write another shopping list. DH went out for a blood test - back within 35 minutes, watched MotoGP practices then went to sm. Everything put away immediately on DH’s return. Salad for dinner including hard boiled eggs. Wudupa.
1957 - 1959 Kitchen recycling, cardboard packaging, drinks cans - recycled
1960 Kitchen detritus binned
Friday is another hot day but currently cloudy. Managed to get up before noon 😉
Excellent decluttering GrannyKate 👏 Good luck on your weight loss journey 🍀
Florenceem, what a busy Thursday 😊 Hopefully the carpenter will get all the doors hung 🤞Good luck finding some lace for upcoming projects 🍀
Nice to see you EnergyShifter 👋 Sorry to hear that you have been feeling fatigued 😔 although excess heat can be completely enervating 😪
Hope you have a lovely time visiting your mum Brie 😊
Fizz2015, nice to have some time to yourself 😉 I don’t remember school summer holidays being quite so long 😬 Keeping everything crossed that the weather cools down considerably for your Devon trek on Saturday 🤞
regnbue, sorry to hear that you have had a cold on your days off 😔 However, pleased to hear that you have been resting & keeping hydrated 😊 Great work cleaning the dining room floor in sections 👏 A trip to Canterbury next month sounds lovely ☺️ so I will keep my fingers crossed that you have some really pleasant autumn weather but no rain🤞
Great decluttering & cleaning Rootle 👏
Florenceem how cheeky of that woman 🙄 Sounds like you not only enjoyed your first visit to a scrap store but managed to find plenty of lace for your next project 😊 Fingers crossed that the carpenter will have an easier time fitting the 2nd door 🤞
Brie, not too sure I would be visiting a scrap store either if I had to spend £10 with the possibility of not finding anything that I wanted to buy 😱
Well done on decluttering behind the cooker ~FlowerPot~ 👏 I take it there were no ‘treasures’ 😅Sorry to hear that the County Council have been worse than useless when it comes to your DD’s education 😖 However it sounds like you have found a good option & I am sending lots of positive vibes & good wishes to your DD 😊 Just wondering if you might be able to claim a refund on the cost of the classes 🤔
Wednesday2000, DSis & I thoroughly enjoyed last night’s episode of Sort Your Life Out 😊 Stacey is so kind & enthusiastic 🤩 Although I did think it was a bit mean of the rest of her team to turn up at the warehouse 😥 Rob is so talented - I wonder if he is available to hire 😅🤔
Liverpool_Anne, sounds like you had quite a busy Thursday 👏 Some great decluttering 👏 Hope there is not too much ironing & that you have a lovely time next week visiting your niece 😊 All scarves, hats etc that I knit will be donated to the CS (or if neighbour G asks - to a homeless shelter)
Great work TC77 especially tackling smaller frogs 👏 Not sure I would like all my ‘stuff’ displayed either & would probably need more than 2 days in the warehouse 😉
I almost split my sides laughing Brie 😂 I really hope the advert worked 🤞“Offer: Small cot. White, fixed sides, good condition. Some bite marks.”
All caught up again 😉 I will watch some more episodes of Spooks whilst I decide if I am going to do any decluttering 🤣

A lot has been happening here - there has been a slight water leak across the road for ages - men finally arrived to sort it. They dug a hole and there was lots of water spilling out onto the road. All the men disappeared only to return about tea time. We had dinner and went to make a cup of tea - no water - they hadn't knocked or put a note through our door to warn us. Mr F went to see them and came back with a bottle of water so we had a cuppa. Went to SA for the second time and came back to lots of noise and flood lights installed. I washed up but when I went to rinse the dishwasher - no water again. When Mr F saw the men the first time we had no water - they said - didn't realise our side of the road was affected. Water came back on but when we went upstairs - no water to clean my teeth - by this time - I was miffed! I cleaned my teeth using the bottled water - went to bed - the pump they were using was so noisy with the windows open and they were talking loudly. Water was on when we got up. To be contd.....Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
