Helloooooo
i have crossed off 4 things from The List and started a frog.
Tomorrow we have a new mattress arriving and I want to get some front garden stuff done while it’s cooler and some art stuff done in the afternoon.
new neighbours had family over and it was nice just hearing conversation rather than shrieking 🤣
I think another set of neighbours will be nursing sore heads in the morning judging by volume of music in their garden and taste of music…….😜⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇

Popping in to say hi after a few weeks away. Life is very busy right now. I am doing more hours doing childcare than I did when I was actually working. Also the allotment needed sorting and the garden plus work with DH refitting our campervan on the cheap. Progress is being made on all fronts except the house which is a pit.
Last week DH and I were at Reading Festival. On the way I popped in to see my brother and delivered a bag of books and left another bags worth of books on shelves at the caravan park we stayed in overnight. A final bag taken to the Festival with shoes and pot noodles for the Reading Street Pastors (on site support) to distribute. We always visit them for a tea and a sitdown.
Since coming home we have carried on the above but after a long weekend in a virtually clutter free van I am inspired to chuck more stuff out.
I haven't read back but am sure that much stuff has been leaving peoples houses. Take care all.

came back to edit my post and seems to have been lost,
had added 21 and then remembered old razor, and foam for seat I never repaired, others all stuff including socks, ood food, items for cs etc. House is very messy but does feel some drawers and shelves emptier but then more on the floor maybe.
Daisy, still love the garden although Japan is a want to go there place. A Japanese family came to my home town for 2 years with the dad working with my dad and 2 girls manage, about 8/9 and loved hearing about Japan etc. 1278

Saturday was a lovely warm & sunny day. DH & I both had a quick bath. I weighed myself - a very pleasing number 😊 We packed an overnight bag & set off about 12:45. The weather was just right for riding - not too warm 😊 Very busy on the roads - lots of traffic & when we got within a couple of miles of our destination there were roadworks & closed roads with diversions 😔 We ended up arriving about 14:15 (eta had been 13:35) Celebrating S birthday (DH’s niece) - an adults only party 😊 Initially a party of 9 for a buffet lunch & then her brother P & his partner N turned up after work. The original 9 were S & her husband C, her mum W & dad T, cousin G & husband E, cousin M + DH & me. As it was such a nice day we ate outside. Lots of laughter & chat - good food, good company & plenty to drink. (Focaccia went down well - all gone) P & N arrived before G, E & M left (18:30) so got a chance to catch up 😊 M is enjoying her new home & has even joined in the evening activities (it is a type of retirement complex) - 2 evenings of bingo & one of darts 😉 G is looking well after her scare earlier this year (April & in hospital for several weeks (aneurysm) She now has her driving licence back so can get out & about without having to rely on others. Although she is upset that she is not so patient any more & still gets tired more quickly than she used to 😔 P & N are jetting off to Sri Lanka on Sunday evening. About 20:00 we went indoors as it was getting a bit chilly & more laughter & chat ensued until about 21:30 when W & T went home (next door 😉) P & N phoned for a cab & left just after 22.15. C went to bed quite soon after which left DH & me chatting to S until midnight when we all went to bed 😉 (Whilst I remember , I received a present from S - a large pink mug with “The Boss” printed on it 😅 S thought she had ordered a black one for her DH but rather than send it back she decided to give it to me 👏 I will use it instead of my ‘Grumpy’ mug 🤣) The room we use has recently been redecorated (looks lovely), also has a new built in wardrobe & the rest of the furniture has been rearranged but sadly funds won’t stretch to replacing the rather uncomfortable sofa bed 😉
Sunday is a rather overcast day but reasonably warm. I was up at 09:30 & greeted by C who had been up a while as he was going to Hyde Park - he is a member of a brass band (plays the tuba) A friend picked him up about 10:40 & they were getting a coach up to London. DH & I will have brunch before heading home. W & T arrived 11:25 just as the sun was putting in an appearance 🙂 We had brunch outside - sausages & scrambled eggs with bread & butter. Stayed outside until about 13:15 when everyone, apart from me, went indoors as although it is quite warm outside there is an occasionally chilly breeze. DH & I aren’t leaving just yet as his great niece Sh, husband D & great great nephew R are turning up soon & R would like to see his Gruncle 😉 Thought I would try to catch up with the cheerleading whilst we are waiting 🤞…….. best laid plans - just as I was typing this they arrived 😊 We stayed for another hour & DH played with R for a while & even I got a couple of cuddles 🤗 DH’s sister W & his niece S are keen for us to move to Kent so S actively checks estate agent listings. She finally found one that looked rather good - detached bungalow, double garage, 3 bed, 2 bathrooms & a cloakroom + a brick built workshop in the back garden & even had a utility room. Quite exciting so we decided to drive past it on the way home. What a disappointment - it was just off a roundabout, in a slight dip & it looked difficult to get onto the road safely + no nearby bus stop. As we slowly passed by we both said “NO” simultaneously. Such a shame as the photos of the inside & the rear garden looked wonderful but not enough to stop the sinking feeling re the location & the frontage 😔 Then continued home - got caught in a couple of traffic jams so our eta of 15.41 turned into an arrival time of 16:15 😬The one advantage was that it was dry & sunny 🌞 Overnight bag unpacked & everything put away. DSis made dinner - baked chicken breasts wrapped in bacon with a jar of creamy pasta sauce, boiled potatoes, beans & peas. Delicious 🤤 I wudupa.

I was thinking about moving there (even though we only moved to Leigh-on-sea last year!) and we are going down in Autumn to look around the Broadstairs area. It would only be after my husband retires so probably 2026.2025 GOALS

My husband isn't up yet so I had to move furniture around as we are having the drying out people coming round in a minute. It is quite hot outside and I feel hot from moving stuff around. I went out to Coop to buy a few things and should have put on sunscreen!
Not much decluttering again. I threw away a manky blanket. I bought it from a chazzer last year, but cats managed to ruin it. I also threw away a purse that was becoming split and my husband old wallet as it was falling to pieces too. I put all the rubbish and recycling out afterwards too.2025 GOALS

Monday is a gloriously sunny day 🌞A couple of things I forgot to mention - another scarf finished + ERNIE was very kind to me this month £275 🥳 & DH won £100 as did his DSis, his DBiL, his niece & his nephew 🤩 Only got up at noon but DH advised that I had been talking in my sleep - something about the price of mackerel 🙄 I am sat down with my first cuppa & will attempt to catch up on the cheerleading 🤞
What a busy Saturday Liverpool_Anne 🤩 Excellent work getting 5 LDFPA done 👏 Good luck with the books 🍀 & I hope your football team won on Sunday
Nice to see you Madbat60 👋 Congratulations on taking the decision to retire from your main job 😊Money might be tight (but hopefully only for a while 🤞) and hopefully you will enjoy time for yourself & some TLC🤞before you start on your deep cleaning project 😊
Florenceem, Kathie looks very angelic 😊
Lovely to see a new face northwalesd 👋 From your description decluttering the loft sounds like a huge undertaking 🤩 Excellent work so far 👏 & it sounds like your partner is fully on board 😊 Hopefully he is finding the free recycling just as therapeutic 😊 Good luck 🍀 & hope to see you posting on a regular basis 🙏
Excellent work on The List Muddy_Walker 👏 Good luck completing your frog 🍀 Very pleased to hear that your new neighbours are so nice 😊 Much as I enjoy the sound of children enjoying themselves, like you I much prefer & enjoy hearing the lower pitched sound of conversation 😉
daisy_1571, I looked up Cowden & it looks wonderful 😊
Sounds like you had a great time at Reading Festival bit_by_bit 😊 Good luck with the decluttering 🍀 It sounds like the clutter free camper van is going to be a great inspiration 😊
Sorry about the lost post TC77 😔 However well done on keeping up with the momentum on your decluttering 👏 IF there is more ‘stuff’ on the floor, the silver lining is that it is visible & you will get annoyed quite quickly & get rid of it completely 😊 A visit to Japan - what an incentive to declutter & sell lots of items 😉
Sounds like you had a relaxing Sunday Liverpool_Anne 😊 I really did love reading that OH does the ironing 😂 Yippee to another pair of socks being reunited 👏 Your odd sock bag must be getting emptier by now 🤞
Wednesday2000, Maidstone/Gillingham/Rainham area. Good luck with your house hunting 🍀 & at least you have a couple of years to investigate 😊 You have been busy this morning 🤩 Remember every item decluttered is a win 👏
All caught up with the cheerleading 🙂 so I suppose I should do some decluttering 😉

A few things decluttered today - stuffing for my latest make and yarn.
Also threw into fabric recyling - a yarn wip - no idea where it came from - not my work. Reel of florists ribbon has gone in the charity bag.
