Morning lovelies, i have been keeping up, mostly with the posts while away, but not really posting. We are still in sunny portugal, but flight home is tomorrow late.
We've have a good time. But unfortunately it appears that I have developed trigeminal neuralgia ~ severe nerve pain on one side of my face. For a few weeks ive had toothache (or what I thought was tooth ache) and went to the dentist 3 times. But over the last week it's been horrendous with flashes of pain in my teeth and side of my head.😢
I will be booking in to see my GP and my dentist as soon as I can. Not sure which one to book first.
Anyway if I keep still it's ok at times, so im sitting in the sun! 🤩
Nothing decluttered apart from a pair of shoes (my posh going out ones!) they must be nearly 20 years old and the block heal is crumbling and the underside of the straps are pealing and the staining my feet. So they've gone in the bin here. Because I know that if I take them home I will bung them in the cupboard, because i like them and do not have a replacement pair!♥️ ♥️ ♥️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸Decluttering 2025 So far 403 / 2025

daisy_1571 - only asked for apron but may make a little thing for her head. I want to finish 2 dolls before I make the apron - show is next Saturday so no rush.
Popped to SA this morning but going to have an easy day now as tired after yesterday.
Mr F is itching to pop out for the local paper but I have told him no as worried about him slipping over - it is fine drizzle here.
There will be some decluttering later.

Morning, lovely sunshine today, feels like summer a stark contrast to yesterday's 12 degrees, gloomy and wet, it felt like the middle of winter. I decluttered money in the trampoline park for DD, followed by a pub lunch with friends followed by a mooch around the charity shops. A few things have sneaked into the house, 2 retro glass fruit/desert bowls. The sort my nan would make a trifle in. Pair of cotton fitted smarter summer trousers for me and fit perfectly. Couple books and Teddy for Dd.
Off to the library shortly and going to take small electrical items and bag of outgrown school uniform too.
Must book a tip run in as garden needs a tidy up and all broken pots need to go.

Flowerpot, hi. I also have TN and was back and fore the dentist and GP in extreme pain. It was finally diagnosed by a different GP who had only come across it once before. I am now on meds ( carbamazapine ) hope I'm allowed to say that) and will be for ever more. It is extremely painful when it flares up, debilitating in fact and I would suggest going to your GP first. Sending you many hugs as I wouldn't wish that pain on anyone. HTH.

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Friday I was up very late 12:30 but at least I missed the rain 😉 It is still very overcast & no sign of the sun 😔 DH is watching the final MotoGP practice sessions & DSis is still in her room - probably cuddling her newly acquired teddy 😊😉 I will go straight into cheerleading 🤞
EnergyShifter, a “day off” is almost as good as a “staycation” 😉 Well done on getting so many tasks completed 👏
Wednesday2000, you probably made the seamstress very happy by leaving the off cuts with her 😊
Florenceem, great idea from your DDiL 👏 Not something I would ever have thought of 😉 I think I have seen the Rocky Horror film a couple of times but it really isn’t my cup of tea 😉
Great decluttering short_bird 👏 & yippee to a “think outside the box engineer” who has now connected you to fibre broadband 🥳 rather than leaving you high & dry 😮💨
Nice to see you diminua 👋 Well done on your steady decluttering & thanks for the reminder to wait before dropping off Christmas decorations at the CS 👏
TC77, hopefully once DD2 has cleared up the uni admin & you have moved her back into her room, she will knuckle down & assist you in a couple of decluttering sessions 🤞 Well done on keeping up the momentum & excellent work chewing on frogs 👏
Excellent decluttering GrannyKate 👏 even though you were looking after DGCs 😊 Please try to give yourself some TLC during your ‘DGC free time’ 🙏😉
Lovely post daisy_1571 😊 Some useful info for Florenceem & a great picture 👏 I am curious to know if you can get your hair to look like that 😉
vulpix, Well done on “springing MrV from hospital” & I hope that the weather continues to be kind so you can enjoy your cruise 😊 After such a fraught year you & MrV deserve lots of TLC 😊 I will join you in hoping that the rest of this year is dull & uneventful 🙏🤞
~FlowerPot~ I hope you are having a lovely time in Portugal 😊 & I will join you in wishing vulpix & MrV “a fabby cruise” 😊 So very sorry to hear that you have developed trigeminal neuralgia 😔 I did look it up - what a horrible condition 😞 Everything crossed that a suitable treatment can start when you get home 🤞Please take care 🙏 Re the shoes - don’t forget to take photos before you declutter them - you can then spend happy hours online looking for a replacement pair 😉
Florenceem, good luck finishing your dolls & making the apron 🍀 Yesterday was a long & tiring day so please take some time for some TLC 🙏 Pleased to hear that MrF is feeling so much better that he wants to go out on his own but agree that he does need to be careful 😊 Is there a friend who could accompany him?
Fizz2015, seems like you have the sunshine for today 😉 Nothing wrong with allowing a few lovely items to ‘sneak in’ especially as you are countering that with decluttering various items 👏
nannywindow, so sorry to hear that you also have TN 😞 However thank you for sharing with us & for the useful information for ~FlowerPot~ 👏
All caught up 🥳
Wishing everyone as good a day as possible 😊

I keep seeing on Instagram that Sort Your Life Out is back on the 7th September. I'm looking forward to watching that.
Again, not much decluttering today, although I did go and get my prescription and put my exemption card on their system as I switched pharmacies. I also called up about my CEA discount cinema card and I wasn't on the system so I am going to have to do it online later. I don't know what happened as they obviously received my form as they sent back my Pip letter. We have the plasterer coming round to look at our patio at 3 today and we have to call up the company who are doing the work for the water leak as well as they will be here on Monday.
Hopefully I can do some decluttering over the weekend.2025 GOALS
