Must finish packing so a quick rundown of totals before I triple check train tickets, railcards and the like.
2477-2515: 41GB data deleted.
2516-2518: 150 emails deleted.
2519-2571: items to bin, fridge cleared.
2572-2605: items to recycling
2606-2609: 3 bags of rubbish and a bag of paper recycling to the downstairs bins.
2610: DVD to charity shop pile
2611-2614: music mags sorted to go to a colleague
2615-2635: excess bags for life to the food bank folks
2636: shredding paperwork.
so that's another 25 to the deferred decisions total as well making 333.
This week, I've had the phone and broadband equivalent of Flanders & Swann: The Gas Man Cometh - YouTube link there for those who need a reminder. Seems to be sorted but it took a few phone calls and a bit of headbanging on my end. I'll be glad to get away.

Hi all, very poor day for getting stuff out of the house, only the bedroom recycling emptied. I have been tidying and cleaning but nothing else out yet sadly. Hopefully some of the bins will be full by tomorrow
I didn't sleep well last night as it was still warm and I am tired now so hugs to anybody who would like one

Take care everyone

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Friday is a 3rd sunny day in a row 🥳 DH was up earlier than usual & in the bath when I got up at 10:30. He is heading off to help his niece M 🙂 She finally has a moving date & needs DH for the ‘tall person jobs’ like taking down curtains & curtain rails 😉 Meanwhile I will pop out for a small amount of shopping & then will be making focaccia & peperonata. My cousin R is having a BBQ for her youngest’s 17th birthday. Our first meet up since the funeral & her DB emigrating to Australia - so bittersweet 🥹 I have dealt with today’s mail 🙂
DH headed off at noon & I was out the door by 13:00. Still no sign of the Recycling Wagon 😔 I was back by 14:30 & DH was back 15:45 with the news that M’s move has been put back a week 😔 started making the focaccia as it needs 2 proves - 90 minutes & 60 minutes. Dinner was shop bought chicken with spinach butter, boiled potatoes & sweetcorn 😋 Wudupa. Started making the peperonata only to discover I had forgotten to buy tomatoes 🙄 DH kindly went out on the bike & picked up tomatoes (22:15) & also treated us to chocolate eclairs 😊 Both peperonata & focaccia are now cooling down & will be wrapped up for tomorrow 👏
1792 - 1794 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans, small glass jar - recycled

Lovely to see a new face kr147 👋 Agree with ~FlowerPot~ that a bag a week is a great target 👏Fingers crossed that you can make lots of sales so tackling two challenges in one 😊
Excellent decluttering ~FlowerPot~ 👏 Shame that DS1 did his decluttering after you got back from the Tip BUT at least he is showing willing 😊 and at least you did have clear space for half an hour 😉😉Good luck making progress dealing with your Huge Toad 🍀 Hopefully after a couple of cuppa’s & a bit of lunch your mojo will be fired up ready to tackle Huge Toad & other frogs 🤞Everything crossed that the weather stays dry & pleasantly warm for your picnic & outdoor Shakespeare performance 🤞
EnergyShifter, sounds like a great Thursday especially the afternoon 😊 Excellent work decluttering & completing tasks 👏
Siebrie, you have been busy dealing with all that paperwork 👏 Yippee for very helpful customer service staff 🥳 so much easier to complete tasks when companies are helpful 😊 That is really expensive parking 😬
vulpix, I have the small milk pan, a large & small frying pan left of my le Creuset Although heavy I only got rid of my other 4 pans because I had ruined them 😔 Fingers crossed that your journey did only take another hour 🤞The renovations seem to be coming along nicely 🙂 Congratulations on your weight loss - nearly 2 stone 👏
Wednesday2000, pleased to hear that your renovations are also going well 😊 Like you I would be tempted to ask if the plaster can be taken away with the bulky waste 🙂
QueenJess, sorry to hear that work is going to get so busy that you will have little time to declutter 😔Hopefully you can keep up with the tidying 🤞Absolutely you should be counting the stuff from your parents attic 😊 excellent decluttering 👏
Excellent decluttering short_bird 👏 Hope you have a lovely time on your break & that the weather is kind 😊
Liverpool_Anne, please don’t forget that tidying & cleaning definitely count as decluttering 👏 Hope you have a better night’s sleep tonight 🤞
Just watching the end of a Person of Interest episode before going to bed.
Sleep tight everyone 💤

Had 25 to add to my number today - used some wadding from my stash.
Packaged 5 beaded pens for the post. Been paid for another 20 pens - waiting for some beads to arrive before I can finish the work.

Kept being disturbed yesterday so although a start was made on frogs 3 and 4, they are far from complete. Other things were nudged along and am looking at carpet samples to try to decide which looks best in all lights. OH raring to go re shed clear out so better get dressed and find some enthusiasm.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅17

Quick check in with not a lot to report. One and a half hours (which I won't get back) to make an appointment for washing machine service/repair. It is only 11 months old and definitely not right. Can't use faster spins at all. When I eventually spoke to a person she was very determined to sell me something ie extended warranty, washing machine cleaner and to expand on all the reasons why it might be my fault the machine was not working properly and saying that I might be liable to pay. Very frustrating.

Morning, having a very lazy morning after a late night at the open air theatre. Romeo and juliet, it was brilliant as it always is and it was warm and dry, although by 9pm it was a little nippy (but we took coats because it's always cold on the crossing home back to Poole )
Thank you @Mrs_Salad_Dodger you always make me smile, you have such wondeful words of wisdom and support for everyone, you are a ray of sunshine 🌞 thank you 😘
Now, i do need to get up and go a few bags in the garden, we have a very overgrown hazel that's needs sorting whilst DH is trimming the beech hedge.
Have a good day all

@Brie re FiL memory board I would let it go now (quietly). Especially due to length of time sat outdoors. As there is plenty of other stuff to distract DH indoors it is unlikely to be missed for some time.

Well took an overdue library book back this morning, but picked up a book I had reserved- one in- one out, so I’ll call that a win 😁
vacuumed downstairs, had to empty first and after- so that classes as decluttering ?
Removed dead flowers from a vase, DH had a bottle of beer last night, so empty bottle to glass recycling box
Tidied up and delegated some emails, found a recipe saver app so deleted some screenshots , also emailed 3 web links so could close open tabs on iPad.
