Hi all, I woke up thirsty after being ill during the night so I have put the washing on the maiden back on the line as there is no rain now forecast until 2pm. I have made a cuppa and am back in bed having a read. Feeling a bit sore and sorry for myself so hoping I'll get a snooze in
Take care everyone

At workshop today then meeting friends in town. Stayed up too late watching Korean drama , will aim to declutter some tiredness this week.16 -
I had lots of stuff that I could have sold when decluttering but thought no - I need gone quickly. Plus I didn't want the hassle.
I finished 5 cards yesterday. I will make some more Christian cards this week - then I am itching to sew.
I would encourage people to declutter - it is so much quicker to clean when areas are clear. Also no embarrassment when having visitors.
Rain forecast here for lunchtime - well it is Wimbledon time. We had rain yesterday - the grass needed it.
Mr F is okay about me ordering the rollator - not broached other surprises yet - going gently.

@Soontobeoap 'triple bunk beds' do you mean 3 beds on top of each other; or 3x2 beds, so 6 in total?

My backyard, which is lacking flowers at the moment. It looks colourful in spring and autumn, but is rather green in summer.
It's 30 metres deep and - although it doesn't look like it - hosts many treasures. From bottom left, clockwise:
mint bed
blueberries in container
lovage
3 courgette plants
raspberries going wild
Black grape
2 pumpkin plants
cherry treeredcurrant bush and 3 bushes started from twigs
japanese wineberry
kiwiberry
red gooseberry
cherry tree
rhubarb
thyme
sage in container
lavender
strawberries
The backyard is also low maintenance (I've decluttered the high maintenance plants over the years): footballgrass, which grows slowly and is sturdy; bushes and trees need trimming or pruning just once a year; most plants are perennials; plugplants are planted, watered once or twice and left to fend for themselves.
Swing set, trampoline, pool, guinea pig hutch; bought over the years, at steep discounts, and maintained well. Swing set is being claimed by the honeysuckle

It's West facing, so we have afternoon and evening sun. And because of the length of the garden, we have morning sun at the bottom.

Managed to get some bits moved around and a bit out of the house over the weekend.
LDIPA too.
Some odd bits from the loft. 2 pieces of wood that could have been shelving - down. TT mug and key ring - down, given to DH to use. 64 year old soap with paint scraped off now being used for washing hands. Emptied plastic bag of carp from parents house and bag recycled. Clutch plates in a box in the loft - down and sent to DH's shed. Hard cheese grater - down, now sat in the fridge awaiting its contents. Pair of curtains - down, now sat in the car for a journey or 2.
Discussion had with DH if he needed a big box that I had emptied in the loft. Not needed so now to be broken down and into the bin. Paperwork filed, items placed like with like. Glasses case out, DH threw a pair of jeans, reorganised a cupboard shelf found a food item that was on the shopping list. Shower scrunchy out replaced with 1 from the store. UU moisturiser.
Yep, things have tidied up a little bit more. Not as much out as I would have liked but it is still moving. Feeling a lot lighter about things - that makes me feel better about it all.
Got a teams meeting with my Head boss at work about my sickness absence. Not sure what to do about it all. See how I feel tomorrow and take it as it comes.
Hope everyone is safe and a well can be

@QueenJess I ended up taking things to charity shop rather than having things lie around waiting to be sold,I needed them to be gone quickly and it was worth any amount of money to feel in control and tidy. I’ve been several years now in maintenance mode and it’s wonderful, as Florenceem says it’s so easy to clean. Many of the decluttering gurus say to think of the time and effort used to keep hold / sell something in terms of money looking after this “inventory “ versus the peace of mind having it gone, our time is money .
I’m not sure my way of explaining is good , but hope you get the sentiment.Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.19
