Hi all. Been having a declutter free (ish) weekend as I have been enjoying the clutter free spaces (mainly dining room, bedroom and DS's room) before I continue the decluttering. More to do (mainly kitchen, DD's room and my library for physical stuff), but I think these may take a bit longer. Certainly it feels a lot easier to do a tiny bit every day rather than tackle it all at once like some of the other areas. In my general tidying I still managed to declutter quite a bit of stuff over the weekend. Going to be a manic week next week, so happy with any progress I may make next week. I have zero items in my Buy Nothing box as it has all been picked up. The charity box is a bit too big so I need to get it packaged up to send off and I have a few more things to put online for sales. As I work in the general tip that is the library, I think I would like to make more progress there the most at the moment.Digital:

Mr F had a great welcome back to Church - I lost count of how many hugs he got.
He thought that he would do some gardening this afternoon! No way.
I am going into town tomorrow - Mr F says that he is going with me.

So glad Mr F is back home and so much better. Sorry to hear about your daughter Mrs F and glad she has you and family supporting her.
Haven't done numbers since mid May so rounding to 750 as done odd bits and alot of electronic clutter.
Hoping decluttering mojo better. dd2 just gone to away with her dad for a week so on my own except taking dd1 to the Swedish place and the things she left behind to her flat tomorrow.
V large long mirror she didn't want to take picked up today. 7 socks / underwear to recycling. Game, and couple of other things to cs bag. 8 cardboard boxes to recycling and 4 bags of found rubbish out. Dd2 emptied 2 waste bins and a big box or revision/ school papers for recycling ( I won't count these). Hoovered stairs, broken peg, my paper declutter, broken lampshade, other paper put away, books taken out of boxes.counting as 29 so 779. Working all week but hoping to fit some declutter in. Also returned items to JL had ordered new bedding, kept one set. Also new underwear so old out! Forgot toy toaster and toast, crumpets and waffles in cs ( can't count individually) so 780.14 -
1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Finally finished my electronic decluttering about midnight 🥳 Bookmarks all sorted - created some new ones & deleted obsolete ones. Also checked every website & deleted about 100 or so 🥳 I also harvested the last of the radishes which I will blanch & freeze. Dinner was chicken in a cream sauce (that DH & I concocted 😉) with boiled home grown potatoes & the last of the frozen peas & sweetcorn 😋 The hg potatoes weighed in at 1.5kg & I have used half. More excellent decluttering roundtuit 👏
QueenJess, pleased to hear that you slowed down a little over the weekend 😊 Although you still managed to declutter a large number of items 👏 Hopefully next week won’t be as manic as you think 🤞
Florenceem, how lovely that MrF had such a warm welcome in Church 😊 I can see you have your hands full with MrF 😉 - he is obviously feeling quite a bit better 🙂
Excellent decluttering TC77 👏 Hope you get some time for decluttering in between work next week 🤞As you have the house to yourself for a while, please don’t forget to eat 🙏
Hope everyone has a good night’s sleep 🙂

Mrs SD impressive on the electronic decluttering ! I hadn't thought about booarls although I don't use them properly and keep meaning to review folders! I would be counting as more than 1 !
Washing on and emptied bin from dd2 room - can see she's done so much in her room but another sweep round could be done but then so can mine ( and again after).14 -
Mrs SD - I spend time watching what Mr F gets up to or tries to. He is back to doing Sudoku - which he couldn't concentrate on before.
We have someone from Mental health coming here at lunch time.

Managed to be up & dressed before noon 😉 Monday is rather overcast & dark. Whilst having my cuppa I started reading/listening to some decluttering websites & also deciding on my next type of electronic decluttering - it is going to be iPad Notes 😔 Once I had finished my cuppa I decided to go to the bank - needed cash & to bank a couple of cheques. Very lucky with the buses - waited less than 2 minutes in both directions 🥳 The bank was a surprise as all 3 cashier windows were open 🤩 posted a birthday card on the way to the bus stop. Out for about 45 minutes. DH mowed the front lawn & trimmed our hedge whilst I was out. Just updating my accounts whilst drinking my 2nd cuppa & will then find something to do 🤞
Thanks TC77 👏 Well done DD2 on tidying/decluttering her room - one medal 🏅 on its way 🙂
Florenceem, sounds like MrF is relishing being home 😊 Hope the mental health visit goes well 🤞
Raining quite heavily now & very windy (14:45) so any tasks will have to be indoors 😉See you later 👋

Back from weekend away (big family event) completely worn out as I drove both ways up north and it's a long way. Waiting for hospital test results this week which I'm trying not to worry about as it won't make any difference if I worry or just get on with stuff! Made an eBay sale so that's some clutter out and ££ in.What's happened to the lovely weather, the drizzles back!Magnolia Stellata16
