Florenceem said:Up - washing on and eating breakfast - I went to bed thinking - I will have Mr F next to me tomorrow night.
No ironing to do today.
You have done wonders in very challenging times, the least you deserve is your beloved Mr F next to you. Enjoy the moments.

Very pleased with the disability aids that have been fitted.
Photo of the cloakroom toilet frame - I will have to lift it out to access the cupboard.
There is a fixed step with handle at the door into the garden and a step at the front door - can't have handle there as doors open outwards. (Excuse the bucket - it was raining yesterday and the steps were mucky.

What Floss said, with bells on. It's amazing what a difference those aids will make, and they're not at all like the great big clunky things they used to be. We've still got a scaffolding pole handrail they put in for my mother out the back of my sisters house.

Hi all, I have finally caught up with all the posts but have just lost a long post grrrr so this is the short version.
@Wednesday2000 and @Soontobeoap sorry for the confusion about the eisteddfodI have been to a couple and the music and art is amazing but I probably would have got more out of it if I spoke Welsh. Worth a visit if you are near one
@Flowerpot_2, poor Elmo, hugs
@Mrs SD the porch is very small. Our house has the front door set back with an arched entrance. Very common feature in a 1930s house. I have put doors across the front of the arch. It helps to keep the house warm but there is not a lot of space although now the big swiss cheese has gone there might be room for a couple of coat pegs for wet coats, I will have a think about that. OH said £110 was banked from the change bag which surprised both of us
@Florenceem, so glad the mobility aids have arrived and I hope the transport is on time and Mr F will be with you soon
Yesterday I took OH to the clinic, I did have to hang around for a while but all fine. I went back to bed when I got home. I did manage 2 LDFPA and emptied the bathroom bin. Today I am going for a covid jab with OH as we have found a local chemist that does walk in sessions.
I have been working my way through the old bras and deciding what to keep by wearing them for a day. So far 1 is to keep and 2 are in the fabric recycling pile but not left the house until I have tried the others
Hugs to everyone who would like one
904 bathroom bin emptied
905 + 906 2 LDFPA
Take care everyone

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Friday is a bright sunny day with a cooling breeze. Everyone was up & dressed by 10:30. DSis has been offered the opportunity to swap out her CPAP machine so DH is taking her to the hospital. They set off at just gone 11:00. The last of the washing is in the wm - DH’s summer riding trousers. Just need washing as not waterproof only protective 😉 Of course it has clouded over but there is a stiff breeze so I am hopeful that will be able to get them dry outside 🤞

Florenceem, today is the day 😊 MrF will be home & both of you will be so much happier 🥹 Fingers crossed that any deliveries turned up once you were back from shopping 🤞I had not heard of the TOM method so have bookmarked it for future reference 😉 I will join with our fellow declutterati in wishing you & MrF a Happy Homecoming Day 🥳 Thank you for your inspirational posts 👏💐 Also thanks for the pictures of the aids. Before noticing the toilet frame I was admiring how spotlessly clean & shiny your cloakroom is 🤩 No need for a mirror 😉
Excellent decluttering of both craft shed & shed Soontobeoap 👏 One medal 🏅 on its way 🙂
Liverpool_Anne, sorry you lost your long post 😔 From reading other threads there seems to be a lot of “losing posts to the ether” so I cannot help but think that there must be some sort of issue 🤨 An excellent description as I could immediately picture the style you meant 👏 So practical for when it was raining as you could shelter whilst unlocking your front door 🙂 As there was so much in your change pot, I hope you have earmarked the monies for some sort of treat for you & OH 😉🙏 Pleased to hear that OH’s visit to clinic went well 😊 Great work yesterday & am loving the use of our latest acronym 😅Hope you have no side effects from getting your Covid jab 🤞Great idea for sorting through your bras 👏
I suppose I should get a move on & do something towards clearing my To Do list. Putting the laundry away might be a good start 😂 🤔

I came downstairs to a lovely surprise this morning, one of my cats (probably the ill one) had pooed all over the living room, she even managed to do it up the skirting boards! My cats both had totally innocent faces. I had to clear that up and I lit some incense sticks in there.
I saw on Instagram that two of my favourite local restaurants had both been broken into the night before last. I was going to go in there to buy something to support them. I was going to ask them if more businesses had been targeted that night, if they knew.
I have just done a load of laundry and hung it up outside. It is much less warm, but still nice enough to dry washing.
I am waiting for a phonecall from a GP, although it is late so I'm wondering if they made a mistake, again! They seem to get the times wrong a lot there.
I am going to tackle the odds and ends drawer while I wait.2025 GOALS

@Mrs_Salad_Dodger feel free to steal my idea of 1 declutter, 2 tidy. It does seem to be successful in limiting the untidiness that seems to be required when decluttering! It's all change today. Popped to the doctor's this morning for a minor thing, but it did remind me that I really need to slow down and take more time for myself. I even took a book and had a nice 10 min read whilst I was there. Did you know that in 2007, an artist made a 200kg sculpture of a spider out of 4,000 packets of Blu-Tack (it was exhibited at London Zoo)?! These are the random useless facts I like to enjoy through a book. I can't help but think it would get dirty quickly and would be impossible to clean..Anyway, I digress, but today I've decided I'm going to take things easy and have no targets. I will do whatever I feel like. I am going to try and concentrate on doing the bits and pieces that really shows how much I've done in the last couple of weeks so I can really see the progress properly - e.g. if I've cleared a side apart from a couple of things that need to go away, I will put those away. Buy Nothing stuff is outside for today's pick ups and I'll see if I can get around to packaging another charity bag/box up. I will also continue the book logging as I like to re-find books I'd forgotten about. I will do the purse another day and since tomorrow's mini challenge is travel mugs and I don't have any at all, it could replace that.I have another 2 cooking books to contemplate, but now I have too few to split between two places. I used to have loads lined up on the sideboard, but it looks silly when I only have 3-4 to put there, so I've put them next to the crate that holds the rest. I don't think I'm going to be able to fit them all in the crate as it's too small, but it looks fine as is. I now have a very clear sideboard! The dining room looks slightly bare for my liking, but it will all be solved with a nice picture on the wall - I just need to find the perfect one somewhere. I don't regret getting rid of anything as I never used any of it and it just taunted me as a memory of things that maybe I should do, but don't (e.g. make different amazing recipes every night... not happening with picky kids and zero time!). I still have a stack of recipes torn out from magazines etc to load up onto my app, but it's probably a good job for in front of the TV in the evenings.Stopping getting so many emails is also going up the list of things to do. I'm trying to slowly contemplate every email and consider whether I really need it going forwards or if it's info I might need if I can add an email filter to send it straight to a folder.Digital:
