MrsF you would be surprised how much damage dehydration does…..it’s frightening.

@Muddy_Walker @Florenceem I would recommend you checkout Jelly drops they are sugar free sweets specially for the patients that don't take in enough fluid. We use them for my mum who loves them, she has dementia, they smell absolutely divine. I haven't tried one yet. My Dsis has served them up with cream too.

Also consider a large-quantity water bottle, 1.5/2 litres, that MUST be drunk to empty every day. Partners / carers can see how much is being drunk then.

Breezing in, I hope your Uncle had a good send off Mrs SD. You inspired me to make peperonata. It is now relaxing in the fridge along with soya chilli but with butter beans as that’s what I had. DD1 and BF visiting tomorrow.  Thank goodness when they leave they will be taking the contents of a massive box of camping gear with them. Another parcel was delivered today too. 

 It’s nice having visitors but all the bed changing!  At least it’s good drying weather

 Siebrie I feel for your Mum. It must be hard for her when they had been married so long. 

 Roundtuit I am waiting till they invent a self mopping mop. It probably is a thing already.

 DFW how was the zoo? We always did a school trip to the zoo with Reception class. They loved it. So did I till I got pooed on in the bat house!
 
 Today spent changing beds and cleaning and having a haircut. 

 Tomorrow mammogram and dentist in Nottingham. Then collecting from Manchester airport. Wednesday dropping the visitors off at Download festival and going to Birmingham to collect a massive flight case to replace the irreparable one that went to the tip. Thursday I just want to stay at home and chill. For several days!
