I sold another eBay thing
so the wolf is a few steps back from my door this month. Not really, I'm ok as long as the job lasts (and it looks good at the moment) but I need to get some jobs done in the garden and it's never cheap. I do budget for that as for everything else but I've got to the stage where I can't really "economise" any more so extra income is the only option. Selling stuff is the easiest way so I spend a few hours every week scouring the house for stuff. Decluttering at the same time.

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Window cleaners turned up a little while ago. Also our ‘slightly unhinged neighbour’ is in fine form today - went back & forth muttering audibly about “evil b……s” in earshot of neighbour G’s elder boy & his friends were who were playing football 😔
Before I resume cheerleading I would like to thank you all for your kind thoughts & wishes re my uncle’s funeral.
Excellent work at your Mum’s, Siebrie 👏 Loving that both you & DD1 are teaching your Mum how to become tech savvy 😊

Phoned Mr F - he has seen a Dr today - depending on blood test results - may have a stronger diuretic. Dr told him the proposed discharge date - 21 June. Physios were talking to him about a bed downstairs - not going to happen - he needs to manage stairs to come home. Mr F has done some practice on stairs today and they are talking about installing extra hand rails on our stairs. His catheter has been changed to retrain his bladder and he got dressed today without a fuss. Mr F in a much better mood today.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

The doctor told me my mother's dementia was caused by not drinking enough water - it caused her brain to shrink apparently. Hugs to everyone.

I'm laid out at the moment with a stomach bug, as is poor DS. We are confining ourselves to our rooms whilst we recover and try hard not to give it to DH or DD. Fingers crossed, but I fear it will be inevitable.I had already done my decluttering for tomorrow. Whilst I'm lying in bed I've been watching random decluttering/minimalism videos online to inspire myself. Once the obvious stuff has gone, I have to continue finding ways to challenge myself as to whether I actually use everything or not. I think another declutter of the cleaning cupboard is looming...Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow, but now not sure what I'll be doing with my first weekday non-working day. Maybe I need to have a relaxed day as I recover and I'm not sure if DS will be back at school tomorrow either yet. In the meantime, here are my decluttering numbers:Digital:
