Just had another QH in the front garden. Pulled out the long grasses and ?barley?? growing in my lavender border. Gorgeous wafts of scent being my reward for doing that. Then I made a start pulling out weeds from the gravel drive and wall edge. Ooops sorry ants. Red ones this time. Pops asked me if my ants were red or black. Ermmm. Red there, and black over there. I'm now going to have to Google to learn more about ants. Who knew that they came in different colours? 🤔
I can do that while I recover from my efforts. A little bit every day will improve the look of the garden and my fitness levels. And my Vitami D levels. And I said Hello to a real live person walking past. Get me being sociable to total strangers 😊

Cream crackered - probably mental stress about going back to work tomorrow and some health issues which aren’t due but decided to turn up and party anyway.
hubby did the dishes and the front hedge and has been asleep on the settee for ages. I have tidied up rubbish, done puppy poop, 2 lots of washing, phoned mum which can be draining and done over an hour of ironing. Oh and the banking.
gonna have a wee rest before anything else.

Roundtuit, being outside and a spot of gardening is good for the soul.Florenceem your Grandson is a very hard worker. I would like to send him a medal 🎖️
Floss , I have been thinking of you. If I was at home I didn’t wear a bra for a while. Instruments of torture anyway! Glad you are up and about. X

Mrs SD - J did a painting & decorating course at college.
Just need to find a brickie now to sort out my front garden.
Came down from the office of doom for a break - time for cake and a cup of tea. No home made cake - no time for baking really.
I have arranged a lift to the hospital for Thursday - now 3 more days to find transport for.
I have 10 bags of shredding now ready for Friday.

roundtuit ~ ants can bite too! I got bitten on my hand by one yesterday whilest weeding a veg bed, we have so many ant nests in the verg beds (both the red and black) and its was a black one that bit me the !!!!!!! I thought it was only the red that bit! I think I made them a bit cross by disturbing them, or maybe it was because one got in my glove and couldnt escape!!Florenceem ~ wow i think we all need to borrow your DGS J!!! HE really has worked so hard. You must be pleased! ANd Im sure Mr F will be delighted that its all been tidied up and he doesnt have to worry about doing it!Floss ~ Im sure you pleased to have your home back now your visitors have gone, but please dont do too much too soon, there is no rush!! xxSo ive been busy today, started with seeing a lady who is going to do some gardeningfor me, DH and I just cant keep on top of it and its stressing us out!! We have a very large and very beautiful garden, but boy does it gow wild really quick! I found a lady and she was £25.00 an hour, I gulped and thought well i suppose thats what Ill have to pay, but she was a bit useless at getting back to me with a date, so this lady comes round and will start on Tuesday and is £15 an hour, so im jolly glad first lady didnt work out!!! Then I actually did some more weeding. Followed by a trip to Winchester for a spot of lunch with DH, we are trying to do somehting nice a bit more often as life has been very stressful and we forget to do things together! then I sat in the garden and did a lovley meditation ( and got sunburn!!!) Now we've just polished off a delicious HM veggie lasagne. Thsi evening will comprise of getting work stuff ready and sitting on sofa resting! Ooh also sold another drum, funds to the uni pot.I feel a bit guilty saying we are going to get a gardener, I know that we should be able to tackle the garden ourselves, but Ive been getting really stressed about it and my mum has given me some money to help with this (lovely mum, who wouldnt take no for an answer!!)♥️ ♥️ ♥️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸Decluttering 2025 So far 403 / 2025

Just decluttered an mri scan , nhs catching up early on a Sunday.
Great work in the garden florenceem
Im with you all on the how did this happen. These last few days I've caught myself looking at 'young people' on TV (anyone younger than me) and wondering how on earth they are so limber. Nowadays if I fall down I'd be checking what else I can do while I'm down therethe dancers last night, wow, all bendy and stretchy. Quite envious
Eurovision was pretty good in the daisy household (we definitely favour the bizzare: underpants fellows from last night, jolly tall fellow from last night/last year, lordi, the Latvian pirates from 2008 (2008 was a great year for us actually), the milkmaids etc. Thats our style instead of those who take it seriously.) I thought overall the show was well thought out to be encompassing with previous contestants and the Liverpool songs and not just about one top act. I quite enjoyed it, altho like you Mrs sd, we fast forward through lots of it. Couldn't be bothered with the tall presenter, over acting and generally annoying
Hugs

~FlowerPot~ I am going to pay my DGS J - £12.50 an hour - worth every penny. Last time Mr F went in the back garden to do a bit of tidying up - he fell over.
I had even more people wanting the sewing machine - I decided on a lady who told me what the machine was worth in case I didn't know. Lovely lady who said - if she ever passes it on - will give to a charity shop or sell to raise money for charity - I just wanted it out of my craft room.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Yes - I knew that prayer would help me decide who the machine went to live with. She was walking with a stick but brought a board on wheels with her to get it to the car. I offered to help but she said - that she would have to get it out at the other end so would manage.
I think as well as hoarding - empty bags/ empty boxes/ lightbulbs and plugs - Mr F hoarded files!Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
