Hi all, quick post to say all packed and ready to load in the car apart from my morning meds and my toothbrush. I have enough clothes to last a month but never mind . I got a text message from the Dr this morning with my blood test results. I am vit D deficient and vit B9 deficient. A prescription had been sent to the chemist for me for the vit D which I have collected and started taking. The vit B9 I have to try to increase by adjusting my diet. I think I might struggle with that as I already eat loads of fruit and veg and as I am veggie I also eat loads of beans etc. Oh well I see lots of oranges in my future . 1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed 2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off - 3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.) 4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend 5. Don’t put it down, put it away 6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc 7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed I forgot to mention that we had an unannounced 6 minute power cut last night 😔 All over by the time DH had phoned & listened to the announcement. I think someone kicked the plug out at the generating station 🤣 I cleared down more programmes from the TV planner. DH has received all the bits he needs, so he spent an hour in the cold trying to fix the motorbike top-box lid unsuccessfully. He will try again tomorrow. Dinner was hm cottage pie with green beans & peas. MrsSD - you were posting and probably off to bed as I was getting up. Meant to be a sunny day - DGS J is coming back to work in the garden as rain stopped play there yesterday.
I have 2 Freeglers booked to collect today.
I need to go food shopping after J has left today.
I do need a new pair of trousers to wear with my casual SA uniform - I am down to one pair now and they are too big on the waist and keeping falling down.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Sorry to hear DD has been in hospital and sending healing hugs to you both. Fellow declutterati , I hope you will all understand that I am always worried that I’ll get one person mixed up with another’s troubles and so please forgive me if I don’t send a personal message of support.

Sorry, I forgot to add your name, @bit_by_bit it’s your DD and you I am thinking off.x16

bit_by_bit - sorry to hear that your DD has been poorly.
DGS J was working in the back garden before 8 am.
Heard that my new phone is arriving early afternoon so I can't go out until it arrives as it has to be handed over in person.
I have been working in the office this morning - my - what a mess - been shredding paperwork and disposing of what doesn't need shredding.
I can see now that Mr F definitely takes after his mother as a hoarder. So much paper in the office. I have just started on red paper recycling bag no 3. Most people have 1 red bag - someone Mr F has managed to accumulate 4 of them - very handy for me in my decluttering.
Refuse man said to me yesterday - your bin was very heavy!
This week it is the recycling bin and card/paper + cardboard boxes - I have loads to put out.
 I have had 1 item of post in 9 days - hope to get some today.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

            Morning everyone
I've been awake since before 6am so spent a relaxing hour reading my book in bed then put my bedsheets in the washing machine to take advantage of a nice day (at last!).
Thank you Mrs S_D - i will be happy to class the bullworker as 2 items
It was recycling collection yesterday so I put in 2 magazines that have been on my bedroom floor all year ; plus loads of shredded paper from the paperwork i shredded last weekend - i put it in empty cat food boxes! .
I've added a couple of tops to the CS bag.
At work yesterday I put more paper in the recycling bin, my colleague and I are really focused on getting our office tidy - so far we are only removing paperwork we can see - on tops of cupboards etc - we have about 6 filing cabinets in our office which will be stage 2.....

Afternoon all. Sending love and hugs to all who need them. I've tried to catch up over the last few days but you've all been so busy.
I haven't managed a great deal at all over the last 2 weeks. But I've sent all the kids to clean their rooms so will probably be a whole list of things later.
