We put up the outdoor shelf and took everything out of the shed and rearranged it yesterday. I have 6 empty pots of paint bagged up to go to the recycling place at the tip that I put in the house ready to go. There wasn't much else to declutter, but it all looks tidier in there now and the shelf makes better use of the space.
I didn't do the jet washing as the weather is still quite chilly. I did buy some strong gloves yesterday to wear when I do it as it can sometimes hurt my fingers using it. I will wait until the summer weather arrives! I might go and brush up all the leaves and petals out there today to tidy it up a bit.2025 GOALS

Florenceem congratulations on reaching your 2023 target. I am sorry about the circumstances that have led to it though. Fingers crossed that MrF is getting better. On the bright side, your newly decluttered home will make things easier for you when Mr F comes home.
This week some ood leaflets for touristy days out recycled and some shampoo sachets uu plus a couple of DVDs to a relative.

oceanspirit - still lots of decluttering to do.
I took stuff to the charity shops and posted the jury form that I found on Mr F's desk. It should have been sent within 7 days of receiving the letter - I have explained the situation on the form.
I popped into the SA on my way home.
The garage is Mr F's space - there is a wine rack which has never been emptied. I have just decluttered/thrown out a bottle of Vodka, one of Sambuki and 4 bottles of wine.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off -
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Yesterday DH got home about 20:00 just as I was dishing up dinner. G is on the mend - fully aware but unwilling to speak to anyone apart from one nurse. DH said that G can be very expressive just by using facial expressions 😅 One slight problem is that G keeps trying to pull out her tubes because they itch 😬 so she has to wear special mitts & be under constant supervision. Dinner was delicious - sausages, mash, baked beans & chopped tomatoes. Back to me wudupa but at least I had 2 nights off 🙂
Saturday is dull & overcast although the sun is trying hard to emerge 🙂 DH will be leaving about 15:00 to go hospital visiting. I will ‘possibly’ do some housework 😉 Forgot to mention that DH received a lovely thank you email from neighbour J 🙂 Today I finally received my PB wins - so now have a reason to leave the house next week 😉

Lovely to see you D123456789 👋 I hope you had a lovely Easter break & that the weather was kind 🤞Good luck with your catch up of cleaning & decluttering 🍀 Try not to spend too much today 😉😉
Florenceem, you are a woman on a mission - decluttering but not re-cluttering 👏 So sorry to hear that MrF was not so good yesterday 😔 However with the continued & excellent care that MrF is receiving, hopefully it won’t be too long before he has more good days than bad 🙏
Muddy_Walker, sorry to hear that your dog has been so poorly but hopefully with all the love & care from you & hubby she will recover quickly 🤞 As to your TB, I think you should probably get HR involved & get your start date with your new team confirmed in writing 😔 Good luck training your newbie 🍀
Excellent decluttering & tidying QueenJess 👏 Well done also to your DH for completing all the tasks on his list 👏 & as promised one medal 🏅 coming his way 😊 I agree with Floss that maybe your DH should have a small daily list of his own (with say 3 tasks on it ) 😉 You could give the list to him in the evening so that he has time to slot it into the following day taking into account that he appears to work away from home 🙂 A win-win as DH will feel more involved & you will have less to do 🥳 Hopefully DH volunteering to go to the shops is a sign that he is starting to appreciate how much you do 🤞
Floss, Excellent idea for QueenJess 👏
Great work diminua 👏 Very impressed that you are in the same ‘decluttering club’ as EnergyShifter 🙂i.e. counting both in & out 🙂
Florenceem, so sorry to hear that you had such a bad night & didn’t sleep at all well ☹️ Definitely not the ideal way to declutter 😔 I hope I don’t offend you by sending a Gold Star ⭐️ I have everything crossed that MrF is having a good day today when you visit 🤞 Hugs to both you & MrF 🤗
Time out from cheerleading to thank everyone for their continued thoughts & prayers for MrF & Florenceem.
Lovely post GrannyKate 😊 Well done on keeping up with the decluttering 👏 Sending positive ‘weight loss’ thoughts 🙂 Congratulations on your goody bag win 🥳
Excellent work in the shed Wednesday2000 👏 Decluttering 6 tins of paint & tidying everything up is a good decluttering session 👏 I hope you remembered to take before & after photos 😉 Hopefully now you have your strong gloves summer will finally put in an appearance so you can jet wash the decking 🤞
oceanspirit, Beautiful sentiments for Florenceem 😊
Florenceem, our garage is also my DH’s space 😉 although it does contain the spare fridge/freezer so I insist on having unfettered & safe access 😅 Unfortunately saying that the garage is DH’s space doesn’t mean that he does the decluttering & tidying on his own 🤣
The sun has admitted defeat 😔 See everyone later 👋

Afternoon all, a lazy morning as had a few vine's last night with friends and rolled in at midnight! That's very late for me. Cooked breakfast, popped washing on line and headed to the allotment. Plan was to paint the shed but I took the wrong colour paint. So had a picnic lunch instead.
Feeling tired now so will be an easy dinner tonight and attempt to tidy the house (stuff everywhere that is bugging me).
I have signed up to do a 13 mile trek in July in memory of my nan. OH is doing it with me so training will start tomorrow with a good walk. Got a weekend away in 2 weeks to West Wales and can't wait. Beautiful part of the world.17 -
I shouldn’t be disappointed that I didn’t spend today as I shouldn’t be introducing more clutter, but I was literally 10 minutes at the pre loved sale. Glad I didn’t book a stall as there was hardly anyone there.
I’ve hoovered, done 2 lots of washing and a bulk buy shop for essentials that I now have to find some place to store. We went for a crazy fun swim at lunchtime so LO really enjoyed herself. Hoping for a quiet evening 😊18 -
Back from the hospital - Mr F was in bed but was talking sensibly today. He had fed himself lamb curry - evidence was on his nightshirt.
I asked him why he wasn't in the chair - didn't want to.
I asked him about his postal vote form - he said he wasn't sure if he should fill it in in case he wasn't here at election time.
Friends took me to and from the hospital.
My youngest Ds is taking me tomorrow.
Our freezers are in the garage - it is Mr F's job to get stuff out and put in.
I have noticed 2 carrier bags of glass jars/bottles in the garage - I will put them in my trolley and take to the bottle bank on Monday.
Got pooped on by a seagull in town.
I cleaned my comfy boots/shoes before visiting Mr F - found they are coming apart at the heel. I bought them on 29 September 2022 - not cheap shoes - thought they would last longer than 6 months. I will go to buy a new pair on Monday and complain - I expected 12 months of wear.

Mainly in the garden today as the weather was definately not what was forcast. Warmer outside than in our house! Decluttered a smallish apple tree. Have spent 3 years trying to rid it of a furry fungus type creature. It gets covered (and I mean covered) in greenfly which in turn attracts the ants farming them! Also the apples wither and die. I have had it 4 years and it has only produced bugs! DH loves a tree. So last year I sprayed it and washed it with soapy water as suggested. I was debating actually using bug spray this week but when I got in the garden I made a snap decision, gtabbed a saw and was ruthless. DH has been home over an hour and hasnt noticed the difference yet! I wonder how long it will take him! 😂. Any way thats another big tbing decluttered and I am half way to my target for 2023. I am happy with that seeing its still April!craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

I advertised some items on local selling sites - no takers. Put them on freecycle - someone wanted them after 9 minutes - more out of the house.
More to add to my total.
I did sell a pair of sandals the other day - win some - lose some.
