I am being very good - when I drop stuff off in the charity shops - I don't even have a look at the goods on sale - been in 15 charity shops in the past 10 days decluttering.
Sad to say - Mr F was in bed and not good this afternoon. Physios came round and managed to persuade him to sit in the chair. He has lost over half a stone - his legs look so much thinner. I asked if he has been weighed - it is done every 7 days - so I could tell how much he has lost. Mr F was rambling today and wasn't interested in anything that I took in to him. He thought his water jug was poisoned and that black pus was coming out of his arm.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Hello everyone, can’t remember the last time I posted but have been busy with poorly dog (her wound got infected and she is on strong antibiotics). Plus having to do lots of short walks with her each day for the physio bit. Hubby has taken over the vet visits thankfully as I was a right mess after the last one.
trying to get everything caught up ready for new job to be told by toxic boss it would be at least a month as I have to train the newbie and come into the office everyday. 😡 That starts next week and I’ve already been in twice this week on non-consecutive days. After blood tests at the hospital this morning I was wiped out so rang TB to say I was very poorly and then slept all day.
I have met my new team and they seem very nice just got to bite my tongue and hope the training goes well!
love all the photos - the ginger cat reminds me of my old cat - she had a yowl on her too!
MrsF - are Saga able to help at all with what information is needed for phone calls etc?
Hugs to all xx⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering

Had very little time today as actually had real world work to do. I did manage to get a load of washing on (DH hung it out), change the beds and make a lovely cake for later. I also did 2 days worth of tidying, concentrating on my bedroom this time. It's not completely clear, but it is so much better. When I asked DH if I could give him some things to do, he said "what things? Nothing needs doing does it?" to which I answered, "there's always loads of stuff on my list". He said to give him a list and so I did. I tried not to make it a full day's worth as even I don't do jobs all day long on a day off! He proudly came in this morning whilst I was working to say he was working through the list. He completed the whole thing! So I did very little today, but DH did all of the following:
- Read the electricity meter (I submitted the reading online)
- Notified nursery for DD and school for DS that they are out next week for doctor's appointments
- Got a private appointment for DS to investigate his allergies (I had done all the research, just needed to make the call)
- Turned the baby seat round in my car and sorted out the boot that the garage hadn't put back properly
- Fixed the bathroom squeegee (the hook fell off, so he glued it back together)
- Stuck the toilet roll holder back onto the wall
- Took the soft plastics to Co-op recycling
So lots of things off my huge list. At this rate I might find the end of it! DH is proudly awaiting his cake after dinner and a star. He also volunteered to pop to the shops tomorrow morning to get a few things we are low on.I've cut the cake in half and added it to the TLC carriage. It's a yogurt, lemon and orange cake.A bit of decluttering progress whilst I was tidying:Digital:

@QueenJess maybe DH needs to have a list of his own, he was so good at those delegated tasks...
@Florenceem I am hopeful for MrF's continued improvement, it will be a journey of ups & downs though.

Just a quick update as I am slowly decluttering - a few things brought in (shower puff thing, wooden spoon, flask (second hand and snazzy beige with red cap) snack pots) a few replaced (bread board as the old one split) and some out - old toiletries that I won't use because they have menthol in and I don't like the cooling sensation on my skin, my old bank log on device, umpteen emails I counted in batches, an old quality street tin that's too rusty to use for food anymore, a mindfulness colouring book, yet more socks with holes). I'm now at 168 things out and 37 in.
I have been reading along as well, and really impressed at how much people are getting done despite the truly horrible things life is throwing at them right now. Fingers crossed things get better soon.Fashion on the Ration 2025 - 1.5 coupons remaining

First here today. I had a bad night - kept waking up and lying there thinking.
I have reached the target of 2023 today - but what a way to do it - I have been keeping myself busy by decluttering and trying not to think of what is going on.
I have a lift arranged for today.
I will take more stuff to the charity shops this morning.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Thinking of you @Florenceem. Lovely cat @Energyshifter - he somehow looks very wise and knowing. Beautiful boy. Not getting much done but trying. Struggling with weight loss as seem to have hit another plateau.

I will try harder over the weekend. I did win a goody bag runners up prize of a hat, scarf and kit bag. Unexpected parcel in the post. DD thought it was funny as from a radio station which seems to be for tradesman.
