After coming back from an extra long weekend in York (much needed after the last few months) today was the most Mondayish Wednesday at work ever. Three loads of washing done and on the line though and some of it ironed too!The trip away did remind me of how little we do actually need so I shall be tackling the decluttering again and having a bit of a life audit as I go I think.Anyway as a bit of inspiration I hope you all enjoy the attached postcard which is a sign in the Treasurer’s House✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Dr phoned me and said no sign of malignancy on the MRI and CT scan. She wanted my permission to do a lumbar punch on Mr F as he can't give it. I got to the hospital to find that they were doing the lumbar punch.
Mr F knew me then he didn't and wasn't making sense. I went to and from with a neighbour who does hospital transport and was already going with someone else from my old Church.
Big wad of post when I got home - all but one for Mr F - I have opened them and will have to start phoning companies tomorrow.
Got stuff ready to take to the charity shop tomorrow.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Floriana, brilliant advice there,in my dreams that would be me.
I just don’t know where I keep finding stuff from to get rid of. I suspect I bring more in than I realise. Is it TC77 who keeps tally of things coming in as well as out? I need to do the same to keep myself accountable. What a lovely inventive flower arrangement, I can’t comprehend how you have done it, very clever. So Geoff Capes turned up and managed 3 giant flags before giving up as a broken man. 🤣🤣🤣He says he will come back with a mate.I have swept up at the front where the old bathroom tiles had been stacked. Swept up round the side of the house and pulled up another few hundred tree seedlings. Another raised bed to do and we are garden party ready. A lot of plants in pots and some in the garden haven’t made it through the winter. An excuse to buy new ones.
Waiting for the bathroom flooring to be delivered. So close to being done. It’s great that this year’s thread is so well used. So many people involved and invested. I love to hear how everyone is.Vx:20 -

@vulpix I think it's EnergyShifter who counts in as well as out. I forget to count the out but think doing both is very disciplined.
I bought a 50p book from the CS for thr flower arranging - couldn't quite part with one of mine. I'd been imagining just learning to make look better in a vase and think other arrangements may be too fancy for me but it's quite relaxing after a day at work. Two airfix ( vintage) kits picked up.
Going to pick up my chairs which have been upholstered and table that's been cleaned up. Realised I would never do so will see how they've come up. It's a charity supporting people recovering from addiction learn new skills so abit cheaper than professional so we will see. Driving into central London which is not my favourite.
Friends reminding me I need to give dd2 alot if leeway with A's over in 2 months and 2 days. DD1 wants to start emptying her flat into my house as thinking may manage to have a gap between flats and go on holiday but needs certainty of renting before back on placement.
Decluttering lbs is just not happening:(
Hugs to those it may help and hope everyone is being kind to themselves and popping in or lingering in the tlc carriage as required.17 -
1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off -
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Wednesday 14:30 - DH has filled the bird feeders (one more has been binned as damaged beyond repair by squirrels) & the newly scrubbed water bowls have been filled. DH is now in the kitchen peeling & chopping vegetables for an hm soup 👏 I am sorting out & dealing with paperwork & emails. Including an instruction to a charity (who are amending their privacy policy) Not to gather or process more data about me. Whatever happened to the days of a ‘thank you for your donation letter’ & once or maybe twice a year requests for donations 😔 I have received an automated response already 🙂
Before phoning my bank I went through phone book on landline handset & deleted obsolete numbers - at last 😉 Finished updating accounts at 16:35.
DH went out the front of the house to wash the motorbike but changed his mind & further dismantled the exercise bike frame (with a little assistance from as evidenced by getting grease over my hands 😉) - now have the pedals, electronics, heavy brake wheel & the magnets separated from the frame & all packed ready for next Tip run. Two sacks of treated wood pieces are now in the shed ready to be sorted. Dinner tonight will be one of the last 3 meals ordered from HF. DH has now cancelled our subscription as although they have a great selection of meals we are rather restricted by DSis’s reluctance to try new things 😉😔 DH & I cooked meatballs with spaghetti accompanied by rocket drizzled with balsamic vinegar. DH did the washing up & I dried up & put away.
I had a lovely surprise tonight - a phone call from my friend B - we chatted for over an hour - catching up with all our news 😊 As B is still working she will come up with a few dates & we will hopefully meet up in the not too distant future 🤞
1018 - 1031 Kitchen & office recycling, paper packaging, cardboard box, newspaper, large amount of paper packaging, 2 large cardboard boxes, 2 x A4 Annual Report & Accounts 0.75” thick, 2 x A4 booklets, 2 magazines - recycled
1032 - 1034 Kitchen detritus, plastic packaging, broken bird feeder - binned
1035 Radio/CD alarm clock added to Tip bag
Excellent decluttering EnergyShifter 👏 Please to hear that the sunshine perked you up a bit 😊
Brie, 4 years to change a lightbulb 🤔 sounds like there is potential to write a joke 😉😅 Although your OH did come up with a fairly elegant solution 😉 rather than having to remember to take a torch 😂
Just seen the time so am off to bed. Night, night

What a lovely cat Floss, I love cats.
Good luck with knitting a kitten, that made me laugh!18 -
@kboss2010 not just my feet that have changed shape! Not sure why I keep these things.
Impressive fluff from such a gorgeous cat that looks as if nothing like that will be left on chairs etc just been woken by one or mine.
I like the postcard and think spring-cleaning or at least deep.cleaning each room per year is a good aspiration- aiming for summer and autumn cleaning now:)16
