@vulpix you have a ruthless feline decluttering assistant there! 

More ways of putting off the decluttering:
- making a big pan of “Free Soup” (veg trimmings chopped & frozen)
- cutting up a big leg of lamb into four leg steaks, a shank, a “bone and bits” for stew, and a ready-garlic-&-herbed roasting joint
- starting to make an inventory of my possessions*
- taking Canine Doggy for a walk on a lovely sunny afternoon
- writing Easter cards
- wrapping Easter chox for family 
- taking Easter things to the post and getting some shopping
- preparing the evening’s dinner (butterbean stew tonight)
 

*not quite as mad as it seems, I want to do it for my executrix, and while I’m going through everything now, listing, although it slows the decluttering, saves having to go back over it all again in the future. It does also help by making me think about the stuff and whether it’s even worth keeping.
 

Decluttered:
- 5 assorted greetings cards for cs
- handbill for village pub which closed about 10 years ago (has been demolished and houses built on the site) to recycling
- junk mail to recycling
- big roll of plastic bags for putting wet umbrellas into from hall table drawer to cupboard under sink where the other rolls of pbs live
- half a dozen curtain hooks from small drawer to curtain hook box
- 8 pieces of Justin’s saved packaging used for wrapping Easter parcels

- 4 freezer storage tubs emptied in preparing dinners

@MadamMim2013 so sorry to hear your news.  Pregnancy issues are so hard and people seldom talk about them.  I lost one at 8-9 weeks, which I know isn't quite the same, but it's hard nonetheless.  Head over to the TLC carriage and put your feet up... actually just in time as I just took a pear and redcurrant crumble out of the oven and have cream to go with it.

Not much decluttering going on here, but I am heartened by the cleaner coming round on Monday and I didn't move 1 single thing for her to clean.  Either my standards are significantly declining, or things are getting better   I am now trying to do less each day so I don't feel I am running around all the time and I am limiting myself to 3 tasks to do everyday.  The last few days these are bits of tidying, gardening and never ending washing, so little decluttering to report for now.  I'm also trying to get back to sorting out those smaller frogs that I have been ignoring..

11,530-11,545 - emails permanently deleted (deleted emails under 1,000 now and total emails in all folders including deleted and sent items under 2,500)
11,546 - online accounts deleted

Friend sorted the computer issue for Mr F - refused payment - we will get him a gift voucher.
Took Mr F into town - took 2 bags of stuff to charity shops - 1 bag was books and one of the shops is not taking books at the moment - I read a lot so books soon mount up.

I've tidied my bag of junk that is my work "desk drawer".  After a zillion years of working in an office with an assigned desk my job has me carting a laptop and mobile between home and 2 work locations and all the bits I need get jammed into the bag too.  So my mouse, pen, notebook, personal mobile, wallet, fingerless gloves as one location has no heat and the doors open all the time (seriously).  So paperwork that is generated gets jammed in my bag to be dealt with at home or taken to the other location to be scanned.  Had a meeting with my manager today and when I was tidying my bag after found the paperwork from November re a client that I need to catch up on.  Oops!    Anyways all scanning was done, excess shredded, stuff to be retained tidied into a folder.  Sadly the bag doesn't seem to be any lighter....   And carrying around so much stuff is taking its toll so this will need to be replaced.  Hopefully everything will fit into my rucksack at that point.

Thank you so much to all of you.. I am so very grateful for the hugs & kind wishes (also the crumble and cream @QueenJess 😌 ) it’s a difficult subject.. Mr Mim was always brought up that no one mentioned pregnancy till the “magic 12 week” mark.. as this (& our previous loss in 2021) proved it’s not quite so clear cut, he’s also learning that there’s no shame in talking about the loss.. 
My DSons are 22 & 19, (Mr Mim also has 25 & 21 from previous marriage) so it would have been quite a change in lifestyle for us, welcome yes, yet I trust that the universe knew something we didn’t and that it simply wasn’t meant to be.. 

Hoping everyone else has a productive Easter Weekend & that it’s whatever peeps need it to be.. I have to work Friday/Saturday, am actually welcoming the distraction..

Vulpix my dogs also help declutter!!! Not quite as evil looking as your cat though! They are very good at hoovering up crumbs, shredding envelopes when allowed, decorating the floors with paw prints, you name it!
they are curled up on me right now, had a bit of a turn earlier so I am being treated to dog cwtches….
hipefully tomorrow dog1 will have her op….I also have a review with my cancer team….I spy chocolate on the horizon….

Reading @vulpix and @Muddy_Walker, I think my decluttering solution definitely lies in getting a pet! Cat or dog, not sure a goldfish would help!
Mrs S_D, we are definitely of the same era 😉. The physics teacher in question almost begged me to give up his subject for O Level 🤣. He wasn’t wrong! I didn’t take any persuading…I was much better aligned with Miss F and Miss J in the language department.

Decluttering a DH this evening 🥳. Unfortunately he will then require me to turn out and pick him up from an evening out with old school friends. DD did offer but with all the cavernous potholes around, I am worried that her little car will go down one in the dark and never come back out again. I won’t count DH in my decluttering totals, just yet anyway.

Another friend that I saw today - says that I have lost weight - wouldn't be surprised.
