Well a few years ago I thought I'd be to photos and the final stretch but RL intervened over the years. One item posted and someone picked up an item I'd wombled and realised I don't need.
Focusing on frogs, chased legal advice on one 3 year old one and conversation with neighbour in new York ( they rent next door) about boundary type issue as they are selling. Dd1 still flat hunting with me making calls aa she has hospital placement. Need to help her complete forms for her accident but as she's working with v poorly little ones exhausted in evening and wary of her MH. Decided much at home will wait til the autumn when fingers 🤞 dd2 will go to uni and will be able to hunt around got matching bits of tuppereware etc long forgotten in her bedroom or study ( airing room.)
And of course the ongoing saga of my dad's house. Someone near him wants a lamp I brought to London and someone in London the 1970 teasmade in the new forest!
Reading how all getting on is motivating me. I awe of the creative here and hugs to those struggling.

@TC77 RL has a habit of getting in the way here too! Sorry to hear of your additional stresses and hope it eases soon.
We are still waiting on dad's doctor to finalise the paperwork needed so we can get the green slip and them register dad as dead. It has been a week now, and it is just increasing the stress. So I have been doing distraction decluttering: yesterday was a nightmare with the dc bickering and squabbling all day, even in the garden so not much got achieved out there again. Today I have reorganised the cupboard under stairs/pantry as dh went food shopping (cupboard stuff) and just lobbed all the stuff in there. I have organised a cupboard just for cereal and used clear lidded containers so I can see how much we have. Porridge sachets have gone in a clear box for the same reason. I have also cleaned our front room window internally (was up at 6 doing this, insomnia hasn't gone away yet.) Planning on taking the dcs to the free museums up in town today to burn off some steam but it all feels like a lot of effort at the minute.
Well done to Mr SD for completing the challenge and for the fundraising. Thanks for the hugs @Mrs SD.

Hi everyone.
I'm slowly continuing to declutter and sort through my stuff.
I've cleared a bag and a half of clothes into the local charity shop Saturday.
Clean, unused socks plus a small bag of assorted bits to a friend, plus 2 items set to 1 side for same friend to drop off.
I've also cleared a good size carrier bag of art/stationery supplies to various people in the last month.
I've also taken a fair amount of snacks I've decluttered (in date, but no longer needed) round to family.
I've also found a home for a keyboard, a tabletop easel and a handful of how to draw books I was reluctant to get rid of. They will be out of the place Monday.
I've a 2nd cousin visiting from new Zealand in the next few days and am so excited and hope he has a great time.
I'm sure I've cleared more, but am really resisting buying more stuff I'm not going to use, as I've a thing for pens and having to buy/have them along with certain stationery.
And am having to be so hot on not replacing these things as I'm decluttering them.

Mrs SD - some of the questions were hard to answer as they didn't seem to apply to me - maybe I am some other kind of bug!
Mr F has got himself in a right state over something he has done on his computer - a friend has just arrived to help sort it out - hopefully - if this chap can't - no one can.
I was taking Mr F out this morning but will wait until this situation is resolved.
I am doing well on decluttering as here all the time instead of spending time at SA. I have managed to make some Birthday cards but not been able to concentrate on any other crafting at the moment. I wake up tired but have slept well - it seems like it anyway.
I will have to take over for a while at least all financial matters as well as dealing with clients.
Clients have been very understanding.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

I’m so sorry I’m rubbish at remembering names but I wanted to offer condolences and hugs for all who are suffering and struggling through all sorts of stressful times
you might get a laugh out of this though….my new shed came and it’s not same size as old one as I know I measured it right but somehow told them a bigger size 😂 luckily the concrete pad old one stood on was surrounded by patio that was sand level so could still go there…not sure if hubby is going to go mad at me or not yet 🤷♀️
broken fridge freezer and 2 rotten fence panels are to go but not sure how yet for panels but f/f is being collected by council at cost of £1317 -
I've just remembered that I've also rehomed a pair of unworn, but new walking boots and ankle high wellies, and a lightly worn pair of ankle wellies.
I've 3 large rolls of wrapping paper going to family today. I've a thing with wrapping paper at Christmas, especially if it can be used throughout the year and found a real bargain of 10p a roll in an otherwise expensive supermarket and got carried away.Decluttering campaign 2023

@Craving_space I amw ith you on the guilt but also the super advice here which is all I would have said.
Also talk to people around about decluttering. I have found places for everything from glasses cases and bras to my stationary stockpile through doing just that.
Beautiful boy and a great name @Liverpool_Anne
Thankyou @MrsSD. I have to do a bit of a clear up as i am spreading out again but it won't take long as the clutter isn't as bad as the old days.
Oh @MadamMim2013 and Mr MiM. My heart goes out to you and huge big hugs.
LoL @vulpix. Butter wouldn't melt.
Big hugs @Dfw38
Nothing done and nothing out yesterday as child care was extended to 6pm. No allotment today as its raining so going to prepare the house for my weekend visitors.
It is great to have the time and head space. I feel no stress about it all. Another positive side effect of the years spent working on iremoving the excess. I have a long way to go but there is hope.

I am a butterfly, which I think is mostly correct.
On the plus side - all stairs rubbish has gone 🥳🥳 it did involve sneaking some rubbish into neighbours bins just before they were emptied, but it is now gone. Now we just need to finish varnishing them...
Attempt number 5? 6? At weightloss is starting, wish me luck that it actually sticks this time as I still have over 3 stone to lose.
Dentist appointment has also been decluttered, with a mostly clean bill of health
Desperately looking forward to the Easter break, no major plans, but might consider if anywhere needs some spring cleaning.
MadamMim, it sounds like TLC is very much needed, along with all the hugs you want x
There does seem to be a lot of bad news around, so I am hoping as we have brighter days and evenings, so too does everyone struggle find things get brighter for them16
