@MadamMim2013 I am so very sorry to hear of your sad loss. I lost my first at only 8 weeks. You will never forget your little one and they will always hold a special place in your heart. It does not mean that you will not have a family. I had concieved my daughter before that baby would have been born. She was my little miracle but I never forgot my first. A son followed to complete our family. Please take heart. My thoughts are with you and your DH

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed

2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off -

3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)

4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend

5. Don’t put it down, put it away

6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc

7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed

Liverpool_Anne, wow you have been busy 👏 Congratulations on getting rid of sky 🙂 I wish I was brave enough 😔 I think that the quiz is too generic & it would be nice if we could find out which answers belonged to each type of clutterbug 😉 As it could be that 3 answers are ladybug, 3 are Bee & then 4 are Cricket 😉 I have a feeling that we are all probably a mixture of all 4 types of clutterbug 😉

Fayolle, surely putting things in a pretty box is decluttering 😉 That is obviously where I am going wrong 😅 but like you I am learning 😊 It is a very small world isn’t it 😊 The head teacher during my 7 years was Miss A & deputy head Miss C & the physics teacher was the father of one of my classmates - poor girl 😉

@Fayolle I would have been gutted if you'd been anything other than a ladybug. The more alike we are the more normal I feel. 😉

I know what you all mean about the ambiguity of the quiz but it has been 'nail on the head' for me. Tidy on the outside but don't open that cupboard dooor- ooops

I can feel my decluttering tidal flow returning. As I look around each tip/ room I'm mentally planning what's going and what's staying and where. That's my first step to actually doing. I'm even contemplating colour schemes for redecoration- maybe I ought to lie down!
