@charlies_tribe Your carrier bags listing reminded me that ages ago I had a massive stash of plastic bags, but when I went to look at them after years, they had completely disintegrated into pieces. Just shows that there is no point hoarding them!Has that happened to anyone else?!2025 decluttering: 3,973🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

HI everyone
Just catching up.
Dfw38 - your last memory of your dad sounds very precious and lovely. Condolences to you and your family. Sending love.
Florenceem - sorry to hear about your poorly OH, hugs.
Sending strength to anyone else going through difficult times.
In RL here, I have decluttered some leaves and twigs from the garden and put them in the green waste bin for collection tomorrow.
I have put some rubbish that has been on my front lawn for 7 months into a plastic tub for either the HWRC or a skip - it was leftover by the people that replaced my porch roof - they should've taken it away but left it
I've decluttered many cobwebs from the ceiling oops.
I'm decluttering emails but not as fast as i receive them!
Love Deni x

@QueenJess I've had so many like that. Our loft is currently insulated by all the black bags of clothes I've thrown up there and the bags are just confetti 🙈🤣 or ive picked tgings up and the bags disintegrated in my hand (and it sticks to everything like glitter) some of the first ones we put up there 20 years ago are still in one piece. I suppose for the environment it's better that the degrade so much quicker.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

What a wonderful sentiment from your brother. He sounds lovely and supportive. I hope all the arrangements go smoothly - there's always so much to do.
@Florenceem
stay strong. Sounds like Mr F is really struggling - hopefully he'll start to show some progress very soon.

DFW I am very moved by your post. Xx
I had put a dolls house in the loft, carefully wrapped in black bags. What a mess when I tried to pick it up!
We have just been to pick the rocking chair up from the biggest house I have ever been to that wasn’t National Trust. Quite surprised someone that wealthy is selling for £5 on fb.It was the family pile and they are down sizing. Of course the chair had to hang out of the boot of the car. We drove home over the moors with Bat out of Hell full blast to drown out the alarm beeping.I had to empty the pantry yesterday to find the Easter decorations. In doing so I found the wall picture I misplaced at Christmas. Several Easter things taken to the church shop this morning. The lady tells me she sold one of mil’s collectibles for £30. Another big one is on their eBay page.179. Bag of batteries

182. Ceramic bunny
191. Ceramic eggs
192. Bag of wood wool, nest material
193. Ironing board, thrift site
194. Another shopping bag, yay
Best wishes for people dealing with ill health and stress. Hope your mil is on the mend bit by bit. Xxx:18 -
I got Mr F out of the house for the first time in a week. We walked into town - took 2 more bags of books to a charity shop. Also took empty punnets and jars to the community shop. Spent £2 in the community shop - got 6+ lbs of red potatoes, punnet of mushrooms, an apple, punnet of tomatoes, a big red pepper and 3 jars of pickled onions.
I feel that Cystitis may be trying to rear it's head - had to visit bathroom twice in the night instead of my usual one time. I am very stressed at the moment.
Mr F is having a breakdown. It is very hard to be watching him sit and cry or stare into space. He stops and sits thinking & mumbling in the middle of eating a meal.
I am having to take over manning the office phone and deal with government departments as well as clients.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Is Mr F having a bad reaction to the medication he's on?? I've been trying to convince the OH to get his meds reviewed as he's been having dreadful nightmares which is a fairly common side affect of one of them.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards.
