Being hopeful as only decluttered 1 item today - calendar.
I think you just make your own target. I have, ridiculously , set a target which works out at 40kgs per week. I’ll hope to find some dumbbells in the garage, but elsewhere my husband wants to start exercising, so we might have to fight over them!November 2023
I'm always in it, it's only the depth that varies....

Not sure what this method is actually called ( possibly 30 day challenge ?? ) but at the end of 30 days you would have got rid of 465 items.
I guess if you're thinking of doing it for January it'll be 496 items .
Hope that helps.

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with daily mail immediately
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
DH visited M in hospital via 3 supermarkets trying to get my DSis’s lacto free milk without success. M is a whole lot better - hydrated, eating & the antibiotics have kicked in. Dinner was roast turkey, roast potatoes & turnips, roast carrots, cabbage & Yorkshire puddings 🤤 Wudupa.
1 - 5 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans, 2 glass spice jars, cardboard packaging - recycled
6 Kitchen detritus binned

Good morning Mrs SD, I took 2 bags to the Cs on Friday, so I've made a good start to the year. The bags were mainly clothes and books.I'll continue throughout the year, nothing is allowed to hang about here now if it's not useful !!17

Hi all, decluttered nothing yesterday due to dire warnings about new years day superstitions which I have never heard of, except first footing, but I organised a few bits for today. Had another sort through under the sink stuff and found 2 bottles of stuff that haven't been used in years and I can't see them being used in the forseeable. So this morning while waiting for the kettle to boil they were emptied and washed and into the recycling. Then 2 plastic forks and 6 plastic spoons removed from the cutlery draw kept by OH for justin. Off out to the give OH s lift home from the garage as car due for service and mot. Hopefully back later with more

Take care everyone16
