Just had a service and MOT...now engine seized!

    You may not need a new/replacement engine by the sounds of your last post.

    If the cam belt has moved/come unstuck, then you might be lucky and a new cam belt kit (including water pump and tensioners) might resolve the problem.

    After that, it might need a new camshaft and followers, if the slipping belt has caused minimal damage.

    This is probably best case scenario though.
    With an interference engine it's likely they do. 

    There's quite a few cases where people with these engines who have suffered a cam belt failure have got away with just new cam and guides. It's possible that lifters/valves need replacing and the cylinder head needs machine work, but it's worth checking how extensive the damage is before getting a replacement / "reconditioned" engine.

    Anyway, fingers and everything else crossed.
