Oh.My.Giddy.Trousers, @EH! That is so exciting, I've just had to tell Soot!
    Get on those lists!

2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
    2) To read 50 books (12/50) 3) The Re-Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg
Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!
  • Ooh how exciting. Hope you get a buyer soon.x

  • Exciting news on the house front.  Hopefully yours will sell quickly when it goes on the market.  3-4 weeks is a decent period of time.  Presumably if it is a probate sale ( I think you said the lady had died unless I have the wrong house?) there is no chain above so that will make things more straightforward. Fingers crossed for you.

😂😂 I remember that feeling very well! 😂😂 We didn't dare touch anything in case we broke it.

We'd done about 3 years of heavy DIY, and barely remembered what we used to do before. We ended up watching the whole of Game of Thrones, right from the start, just to make sure we didn't start fiddling with anything 😂
