  • Fingers crossed for getting your house on the market soon then. Sounds like its all moving in the right direction. I keep perusing houses on the coast, although we don't have any intentions of moving for a few years yet....but it is nice to dream.

    Exciting! We did this back in 2020 just after the first lockdown, and just before it all went bonkers. Viewed a perfect house, offered, agreed to give us two weeks to find a buyer. Sellers were moving abroad, so no chain. We went with the same estate agent (we had got them out to value ours, and they got us in to see the one we bought the day before it hit rightmove) and we managed it by two days!!! 

    (It was still a long six months, with a whole host of isssues, but we managed it!)
