Fingers crossed for getting your house on the market soon then. Sounds like its all moving in the right direction. I keep perusing houses on the coast, although we don't have any intentions of moving for a few years yet....but it is nice to dream.Making the debt go down and savings go up

Well, positive is indeed the word! Second valuation was this afternoon, and that one came up with a price slightly above the mid-point on the first one, so we’ve decided to go to the market at just below that. We have in mind that we have a slightly lower figure that we would accept - from the right buyers. Photos being done tomorrow - and I need to sort out the ones I want included of the balcony in summer, and the kitchen and bathroom when they were first done.Not long after I signed off earlier, news landed. Our offer on One Careful Owner is accepted, and it has been taken off the market for a “grace period” of 3-4 weeks to let us get ours on the market and see if we can get sold. 🥳 There are celebratory beers happening here, along with increasing numbers of lists, unsurprisingly! 😆

Tea from freezer - YS’s fish cakes and the last of the oven chips
HUUUUUGE pot of chickpeas cooked - will drain and portion up shortly

Thanks to valuations the flat has never looked tidier, or cleaner!Couldn’t make it to the gym but did run this afternoon
Day 7 of the Yoga 30 day challenge also done
Load of washing to machine ready to go through tonight - can go on the airer after the photos are taken tomorrow!That’s my lot for today I think - and I mean, that’s not a bad day all round! 😁

Exciting! We did this back in 2020 just after the first lockdown, and just before it all went bonkers. Viewed a perfect house, offered, agreed to give us two weeks to find a buyer. Sellers were moving abroad, so no chain. We went with the same estate agent (we had got them out to value ours, and they got us in to see the one we bought the day before it hit rightmove) and we managed it by two days!!!
(It was still a long six months, with a whole host of isssues, but we managed it!)Debt free Feb 2021 🎉2
