We see too many daft threatograms!
But please don't disappear just yet.
A final Public Consultation is coming.
We need you; motorists need you to help us make a difference forever. What a waste of your time this is. It's truly horrible being pursued for £100 plus false 'fees' for no reason, by an ex-clamper aggressive firm, isn't it?Join us in trying to end the conniving PPC and DRA 'added fees' fuelling the court culture. There will be one window of opportunity - the Public Consultation is anticipated very soon.
Together, we can stop the rotten parking industry from riding roughshod over the new statutory Code and the charge level caps, and otherwise bullying all motorists forever, using the regulation to gain kudos and status.
If you are not likely to pop back here every week to check, please set up email alerts for this forum and bookmark this thread (below) as we intend that one of us posts on it when the Government opens the Consultation:https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6333989/mse-parking-ticket-appeals-guide-feedback#latest
Read the latest posts there.
The PPC money-grabbers blocked the new Code by filing for Judicial Reviews. Stopped the declared and much welcomed parking code from February 2022, which stated that added £70 false 'DRA fee' extortion was to be banned and that parking levels would start at £50.
It's on hold.
Motorists urgently need it reinstated and the ban on false 'DRA fees' confirmed, to stop the rot. This year will be your chance to make a difference, plus any other drivers you know (family, friends) who are also fed up to the back teeth with the greedy and unscrupulous parking industry and the stranglehold they have on people.
We need high numbers of real victims to make a point of responding to this final Consultation.

Hi,
Apologies if I am posting in the wrong section, but I received a fine from Have A Nice Car Park in May for parking at Heron foods for under 10 mins, its a new store and signage isnt clear. I spoke to Herons and they said ring them and tell them your not paying, maybe a mistake on my behalf but instead I ignored their letter and now have a letter from TNC collections threatening legal action. whats my best option from here please. Thank you.0 -
Ignore it.

Hi Guys,
CHECK YOUR SPAM BOX.
I have just had my first encounter with "Have a nice day car parking Ltd" OMG this company cannot be real. So long an short I drove into their carpark for 5:07mins to read the sign and try to do the admin task on my phone to pay to park. When this failed I left the car park immediately without ever putting my car in a bay. 2 weeks later received a ticket which I appealed online and heard nothing back. Now a month later I received a call from TnT Debt Collections who advised that the appeal rejection goes to your SPAM box hence me not seeing the response.
HAVE A NICE DAY PARKING APPEAL RESPONSES GO TO YOUR SPAM BOX DELIBERATLY.
The ticket was further reduced to £30 to cover admin cost (still unfair) however you only have 21 days from the date of the letter to further appeal to the Independent Appeals Service (IAS), who state you can make and appeal outside of this time but the provide no real link to do so.
To stop this and move on with my life I have resulted to paying and gave in to the demand of TnT for £170. I know this is weak of me, however I feel I must tell others to check their SPAM BOX after appeal as this is clearly part of The Great Parking Scam, and the IAS are of very little independent help and I wonder who really manages this certified site and whom they are certified by
The payment is going to take a while for me to get over financially. While working two jobs with two kids it is too much for me to manage this fight. But I hope this information helps the next victim of HAVE A NICE DAY PARKING ltd who are everything other than nice.
If anyone knows a pathway forward to fighting this issue after payment please advise, but if not please learn from my lack of knowledge.

Hi
I've recieved a "Notice to Keeper" from "Have a nice car park". I did overstay buy 20 minutes in a car park in Wolverhampton and have been charged a whopping £100 or £60 if i pa within 14 days. Can I fight this as the only option given is to 1) Pay the fine, and; 2) "If yyou were not the driver of the vehicle, to notify us (in writing using the form attachced) of the name of the driver and their current address".
There is no option to challenge this, is this because this is no longer an a route to go down. Has anyone been abble to do so successfully? And if so how can I do so as £100 for a 20 minute overstay is extortionate.
Thank you for your help
