Narc0lepsy said:Thanks for the lists. Somewhat alarmed by the prospect of "last minute" Christmas presents.......it isn't even the right month yet!
Having said that, I've gone through The Big Give and chosen "presents" ready when it opens on Tuesday.
Lots of bits today: have written more cards, crossed a few more things off the list, done a bit more of a report, gone to church and was asked to read - not that I mind, it was Isaiah which I love.
Went through various web sites with Mr N to sort out what else we are going to do when we go to London for the ballet next week, i.e. best places to see Christmas lights without paying a fortune (Kew Gardens £21.50 for example - not a chance!). I think walking up Regent Street and round Covent Garden will do us absolutely fine.
Also went online to see the Bournemouth light trail map as they have a fantastic Christmas tree display which is free. Need to plan it carefully as Mum gets tired quickly; however, we are down with her in 2 weeks time as well as over Christmas so she can see it in several stages if she needs to.
Have a good week everyone, don't stress. Happy mating Raphael......Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Morning all
I am back in again. Thank you the lists. However, today will be an easy day for me , we went out for a super long walk yesterday and I’ve hurt my ankle, don’t think it’s sprained, just painful so painkillers, rest and some gentle flying between the paid stuff is the order of the day I think.
wm x 1 set to swish
covers turned back on bed to air and windows opened for a while
that will do for my first mini flying session….
hugs, sticks, spoons for all in need x8 -
Hi all, I'm back in this week. Last few weeks seem to have flown by. I've been constantly busy, but don't seem to have much to show for it!
List for today.
Dishwasher x 2
Repaint walls that were plastered, second coat
Make pizzas for tea
Dig more compost out and put on a bed in the tunnel
Plant out seedlings into bed
Washing machine fill and put on
Dry washing, probably in dryer!
Clean worktops
Count sheep and check on rams
That will do for now.
Happy birthday iona. Glad your grandma is sorted, raphael. Hope you have an easier week pigpen. Don't work too hard, asb. Hugs to everyone, mumtoomany.xxxFrugal Living Challenge 2025.10 -

Hello xx
I'm up, made the bed, had a brew....
and I'm dressed, fed the birds, put out the rubbish and recycling, and done the last laundry shuffle.
Only breakfast pots to wash so I left them until they're joined by lunch pots.
I've had a read a book / admin morning. I know what I want to buy from where for the last few Christmas presents and I've made lists. I've written the birthday cards for December, added the relevant posting dates to my calendar, and totted up how many stamps I need.
A productive morning. Lunch, football, latch hook, and finish my book scheduled for this afti.

Me again.
Just having a bag of crisps to keep me going. DH is on his way home from work and we're going shopping this afternoon. I'm hoping he'll say we can treat ourselves for a change and actually have lunch out.
Anyway this morning I walked Poppet, did dailies, S&sd the bathroom then spent just over an hour cutting back bushes in the garden. Having got covered in insects etc, I came in, had a shower and now look quite presentable. I've even put a little makeup on and a spray of perfume.
Will now put last wash load on airer and then play solitaire for a bit.Spend less now, work less later.9
