Morning all
long day for me yesterday with a lot of driving so will be taking it easyish today, dailies are done including wm x 2, everything else on my list is not urgent so I think I will have read a book morning and then see if I feel like tackling a few bits later.
have a good one all, hugs x9 -
Morning all.
Hope everyone is OK today.
I made an early start and had crossed several things off my list by 10.30:
- showered, dressed, had breakfast
- stripped and partially re-made my bed
- WM/TD x3 and final load ready to go in WM
- QHI
- emptied all bins
- tidied round.
Unfortunately my plans for going away this week have just been delayed until at least next weekend, but I am looking on the bright side and loving the fact that, having caught up with so many outstanding jobs this week, I shall be able to enjoy doing very little Flying for the next 7 days. Maybe the ancestors will get woken from their extended lie-in!
See you later on the new thread xxx

I spent the entirety of yesterday in bed.. this cold and my bones just hurt and a migraine joined in for fun.. so today OH thinks it is ok for him to do the same.. so I am letting him (not that he needs permission just that I am not being mean and kicking him to come do stuff).. he will get hungry soon enough..
I would like him to sort the christmas stuff but I feel dizzy and flaky today so don't really want to do that stuff either.
WM on.. washing the clean duvet OH didn't take upstairs when asked and left on a chair so Nutkin pee'd on it.. he is a nightmare for peeing on stuff!TD onCuppa slurped.. I'm going to make a second and get the DW done and maybe fill a binbag in the kitchen, I will see how long this single solitary spoon lasts..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)9 -

Get well soon vibes for any and all feeling under the weather.Sorry your trip away has been postponed Ionafan but as you've now caught up on everything you can have a lovely week taking it easy now you're all caught up.Belovéd cleaned out the lightwells at the front of the house this morning before he made breakfast. It's his least favourite job of the year so we're both relieved that's over and done with.Yesterday I planted about 100 bulbs on the top of the ground under a neighbour's lemon tree in our communal garden - as we live in the southwest with an incredibly sheltered garden we have high hopes that this year's single lemon will be the first of many. Her husband, who died several years ago, grew it from a pip in his cabin on board the ship he worked on, and planted it outside their sitting room window. It's very happy and healthy. It needed tidying up underneath and she's 80 so I said I'd do it, but was waiting until bulbs came on sale and then promptly broke my ankle. The plan came together yesterday with bulbs and lawn edging, leaf rakings, the contents of one my compost tumbers which was well overdue for emptying, and a bag of compost she'd had delivered years ago which was too heavy for her to move. It looks great. I'm going to get some cyclamen and polyanthus / primroses to shove in on top of the raised bed. The worms are going to love it but we could do with some rain to get it all going.Today we blitzed the house because someone was due to arrive who phoned early afternoon just as we were finishing to say he wasn't coming until tomorrow which is fine by us. I shelved plans to deal with the kitchen floor but other than that it's all done.We got the Christmas stuff down from the attic but that can wait until next week.Better is good enough.9

Not much done today. Got up late, took Tiny to his football match (which they won). Came home, lit the woodburner, printed off lots of puppy paperwork, sold puppy to lovely new owners, waved them off, had a little cry at the loss of my furbaby. Had a snooze, had a cuppa, took Small to his gymnastics competition (which he won), came home and handed back one fox-red labrador and a French bulldog, accepted a lovely bottle of gin as a thank you, ordered a takeaway and flopped down to watch England play Sonegal in The Workd Cup.
I'm exhaustipated...having done zero flying lol9
