slepy like a top last night.
will need to make a phone call Monday to find out if next chemo has been cancelled or whatever because my appointment face to face in Steel City is the 30th

Morning. Chucking spoons, sticks and everything else to anyone who needs it.
Grandma duties for next three days so just basics and hoovering done today. Poppet wasn't really interested in her walk. She knows from the preps that a toddler is due and she loves them!
I will be taking DGD1 to a Xmas fayre later to break up the day.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.11 -
Glad to know you slept well Valli, hopefully the next one goes better and it was just a one off x
Dizzy we planted daffodils in December last year and they were a bit straggly last spring but will hopefully be better this year. Good for you for getting the kids involved in practical stuff.
My backside has glued itself to the sofa, I was going to do a pilates workout but have randomly wasted an hour on the internet. I did get out on the bike yesterday and washed both bike and car when I got home, but the kitchen could do with a proper clean and there is clean washing to put away.
Weather forecast is dreadful for tomorrow so today might be a getting out and doing something day and tomorrow a hunkering down inside day.
My hair needs washing. I need to move.11 -

** creeps in really, really quietly, so that nobody notices a 2 week absence - was it really so long??**
I’ve tried to catch up on the thread before posting, but that has defeated me, so apologies if I have missed something, but lots of hugs all round, especially to Round, Valli, and Pigpen, and a very belated happy birthday to Iona xx. Thank you to the lovely flyladies who checked up on me to see if I was ok ❤️.
We have had a whirlwind 10 days, and I feel like I’ve been in a constant state of packing, unpacking, and trying to get washing dried. We went away with friends for a few days (lovely), back to work for 2 days playing stupid crazy catch up (unsuccessful, the backlog got bigger), then away again last night for our work Christmas do (nice hotel and scrummy breakfast, oh and the odd gin 😉). Tomorrow we are out for DSiL's birthday, then I am off work until Thursday (cue bigger backlog), meeting up with DSis and DD on 2 of my days off. Exhausted just thinking about it.Flying? Minimal (ahem), to the extent of non existent beyond cramming clothes in the wm and the odd bit of ironing. Today I have returned to the fold, and cleaned the bathrooms and cleared the ironing pile. This afternoon I need to finalise a Mr M delivery due on Tuesday, and think about this Christmas thing that is looming. Thankfully, presents will be minimal this year, I think.
Off to read back through the thread, love to all xx11 -
Good evening girls
I am happy to report my job list posted on Sunday has been completed. My new drier is absolutely super and I am thrilled I took the plunge. Bought the children a Match attacks album and sticker set apiece today so that has kept them occupied and happy.Chicken out to defrost for dinner tomorrow and meal plan done.
Take care all xx11 -
Welcome back, Fayolle x
Well done asb x
Glad you're feeling better, Valli x
Pleased to report that I have made progress and crossed a number of things off my list today. Tomorrow's list will hopefully be doable in the time available to me.
G'night, sleep well!10 -
Natty my flycards are in the post (First Class) so will leave here early Monday and should be with you Tuesday.
Aplologies…they should have been taken to PO yesterday but the combination of bringing the appointment forward and my allergic reaction meant I never got to the PO yesterday.I’m thinking of taking a couple of days off this week to regroup and recharge.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning all,
Today is DSiL’s big birthday lunch, so we are off shortly, given that a stretch of the motorway that we need is helpfully closed for the weekend.
Today’s flying was planned as even more minimal than usual - pack overnight bag and fold up clean washing. However, I have already vacuumed the LR, as a piece of coving fell down in the night!! I have, of course, been pointing this out to DH for many months (years?) and he helpfully said that it was fine and that he had too much to do, but when he retires….. I did nothing but bide my time to be proved right 😉.
Have a lovely day all, see you on the other side xx9 -
