Hope DD sorts out an earlier test as you won't last doing that kind of driving and then a full day.
The tour and room should be fun, if they're not it's something off your invisible bucket list!
Definitely do relic's and other visits, there's probably some close enough for a trip out.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
Oh interesting that you are also considering giving up gym membership too. Hope you enjoy your online classes. For me doing it at home doesn't work so well as everything else gets my attention. Hopefully you have a much better attention span than me!100 mile trip - ouch! Hope it's sorted out soon.Save £20,000 in 2025. April 2k, May 3.5k4

How frustrating about the train."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3

There are so many train cancellations at the moment, very frustrating for those who really on them. Nice of you to drive her, but that must have been tiring.
I've started doing online workouts too and I'm finding I'm more consistent with them as it's harder to make excuses to avoid itDFD March 2025 (£35000 paid off)

Completely agree with ohdearhowthathappen, it must be awful for anyone who relies on public transport, and so glad DD has you to drive her. Its exhausting, but I don't think they truly understand until they are driving themselves just how tiring it is. Hopefully won't be too much longer until she is driving and independent."Think of many things, do one"

Aside from yoga home workouts don't work for me either - I've not really got the space and can never find the motivation!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

The online balance class I did is yoga inspired. I haven't done more since Monday. I did more steps than normal at work yesterday though so not all bad. My new mat arrived today - so will unwrap it shortly and see how thick it is.
I asked my cleaner to clear a load of clutter from one corner and she did and it feels a little better in the lounge now. I still have too much stuff without a home though so still need to work on a longer term solution.
Thankfully taking DD on the long trip was just yesterday. She made it home on the train today.
I've been having problems today with my cards being repeatedly declined while trying to shop on Am**** I don't understand what is going on. I've deleted my cards and re-added them and added a third new card as well. It kind of defeats the point of having a linked points card though!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Started listening to the Salt Path today and it motivated me to get a few steps in of my own - everyone has to start somewhere. Hope you are all doing well.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
