I'll admit I've been in bed until about half an hour ago. I've decided today I really need to tackle our office space (which will eventually become the baby's room in about a years time). I use it mainly for crafting and am a bit of a whirlwind, when I get going everything goes everywhere and I've got boxes and boxes of stuff that gets scattered aboutThe living room, kitchen and master bedroom are largely tidy still - just need a hoover which OH will do and a wipe around/DW etc. which I'll do this evening.

Lobbing sticks at Round's BD
Aw Round - hope you feel better soon. I would pop round for a coffee were I nearer - or you could come here - I have no shame - my current excuse is that I haven't got straight from having my new bedroom carpets..I bet I can milk that one until Christmas. And I am not averse to peppering conversations with the words 'chemo', 'cancer' and 'operation'.
(My new one is PICC line - apparently I can't lift ANYTHING - it's all lies lol)
DW emptied. Socks put away. More rubbish put in not-yet-emptied black bin.
Just done an hour on emails etc for work.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear8 -
Round.. you are very welcome to bring your BD here.. it can play with my grey one.. and the cats can eat them both! I think there is even a commoner wagon trundles over the mud!DW emptied and back on2 loads of laundry hung up2 more loads inTD half filled1 side cleareddrippy water emptiedextra bend put on WM waste to see if it helps with emptying and WM pushed back in placeLaundry gathered from hallway (flung from middle room) and front room.. mostly.. OH did it and there is loads left.I am having a cuppa and hoping I have a couple of spoons left to start on the corner of utter despair.. Round is more than welcome to get dug into .. there are snacks in there and half finished knitting projects.. I just want to be able to tree the children, I think they will be less sad for a bit if I can.Christmas shopping so close to being done.. I have a list of who else I need to do.. Meem I have barely started, DS2 I need OH to help with. Twinkle has next to nothing but she doesn't really need anything. I'm eyeing up a mattress for DS1 and DIL. I sourced them a free bed base this week but I think their mattress needs replacing too.. W0wcher is my bestie! My mattress was £290 reduced from £1100.. bargainous! I need a stocking filler shop, we usually do BnM but it's been rubbish in there recently I might risk a trot to Home Cheap-things even though it smells of wee.. or the R@nge.. I need to sort the freezers, put the TD in the shed, rehome the old one in the shed and the tiny fridge in there.. and get the big Olaf fridge in there.. We need legs putting on the larder unit so I can put the food back in the cupboards, it is currently in 3 washbaskets and a couple of boxes. Some is going to DS1 when I drop off his 2 binbags and couple of boxes of belongings.
See on paper I look busy.. in reality I am sat in my derriere with a cuppa and a turkish delight.

I do feel a wimp that I'm falling apart when everyone is coping well with far worse though.
I need to be at home in case the Surgery phones re: sick note. They are not helping my anxiety at all. If they ask me to go in I don't want to have to say that I've gone west to admire new carpets or north to snaffle Turkish Delight before it's all gone 😊
I've ticked off a few things - I'm at the wading through treacle stage. It's exhausting. Moan. Whinge. Mumble. Complain. But every tick is a win 🏆
Food next. I need to eat.
Then I'll do a bit more

Sending love and energy to all of you with dogs today. Little bits at a time!
@Valli as a healthcare professional I totally agree, no cooking/cleaning/hoovering/lifting/anything you don't want with a PICC line in... the PICC you to rest on the sofa and enjoy coffee all day long and nothing else you don't fancy!
Well the office is turning out to be a Sisyphean task... I've sorted out the pile of c**p behind the door that OH seems to like building, found all our warranty/instruction manuals shoved in the corner in a pile of race packets, bank statements and receipts from 2018 (now sorted out and in a much nicer document holder) and taken a good few books out the bookcase to go to the charity shop. I've also found about 2 years worth of running and profession specific magazines from two years ago that I have no idea what to do with... seems like a shame to throw them out but I can't imagine a Drs surgery/dentist/hair salon would want them and I don't need them anymore. Unfortunately they're the laminated type of paper so they're not even any good for kindle for the log burner! I've had a spot of lunch though and got the DW unloaded now so moving forwards.
I also found some gardening stuff to go out in the shed but it's absolutely tipping it down here so I won't be putting them out today!
I've had some lunch and am going to get back to it. If I don't check back in two hours, send a search party, the magazines have eaten me!£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January7 -
Round.. honestly.. if you can get a chauffeur to trundle you here you are very welcome (I know you don't like the drive).. and a fantabulous excuse for me to sit and natter and do nothing. We all have our own challenges.. they are ALL valid don't ever feel a wimp for facing your own struggles.. we all deal differently with situations and coming out the other end, seeing that light, admitting you are finding it hard and asking for help is heroic! Be kind to yourself!! Think all those things you would say to someone else if you knew they were finding life hard!2 more wash loads dangledboth WM's reloaded but not turned on until some of this is dry.
I have not touched the corner of despair.. my life has become about procrastinating so I don't have to look at the mess!
I have paid my last £28 off the new fridge.. I will have it paid before next November so I don't have to pay any interest, I am determined!
