It’s horrible.
She keeps thinking shes been broken into but its her shuffling stuff around. She’ll travel all the way to the hospital on the bus (like a 30 min journey) thinking she has an appointment but she hasn’t.
Started drinking heavily, like bottles of vodka, which is so out of character.
Luckily shes not been harmed as yet, but its clear she can no longer live on her own.
All her sons (my dad & uncles) live up country, one is living abroad. They are so far away and organising things like social care over the phone is a nightmare.Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

Sending love to Raphael, one of my work colleagues went through similar and I know how hard it was for her x
Round you know that you dont need a reason to not be OK dont you? You are an amazing person and you will get through this, I am sending some long distance love and support.
I took the afternoon off and had a rare trip out with DS1. We went to the seaside and had fish and chips in a favourite cafe. We then went on a charity shop trawl and he bought a couple of much reduced home things in Wilko before we headed to Mr Ts for some food shopping. Very enjoyable and some much needed down time.
Flying has been non-existent again. The weather forecast was wrong so I hung doggie blankets out and they are soaked.9 -
Thank you YL ❤
The power of Flylady vibes. I am convinced they work. GP phoned at 6.30 pm (I'd abandoned hope by then) and I now have a sick / fit note for a calendar month from yesterday. So now I can forget work and concentrate on me.
Pops phoned. He is ill and on antibiotics for a chest infection. He has COPD. So that's something else to worry about.
Love and coping vibes to all

Round sending you lots of hugs & sticks. As YL says, it is okay to not be okay. Take some time to look after you. I hope papa Round recovers soon x
Paid stuff done. Kitten taken to the vets. They don't need to see her again, but one part of the wound is not quite healed so she needs the vest for another 3-5 days, and can't go out until it is healed.
WI committee meeting tonight. I had my arm twisted to take on the treasurer's role back in April. I am still getting to grips with it, but I am getting there! I need to get forms filled to get added as a signatory with the bank. I am a treasurer with no access to the bank account! 🤦♀️
Flying consisted of picking up toys, cleaning up cat pee 🤬 and delegating the use of the handheld vacuum to the 2 yr olds to clean up the mess of shredded old leaves! I also de-scaled the kettle 😊
Hugs, sticks & spoons to those that need them. Night night all x8 -
Morning all xx
I hope that you are all tucked up in bed and dreaming sweetly. Rest easy knowing that I'm on WAC sentry duty tonight. Brew and biscuits are available if you are awake though.
Thank you GI ❤
Woah piggers that is some list. I hope that writing it down freed up some headspace for you. ❤
Writing down my tiny list on here yesterday meant that I actually got something done.....though the pots are still waiting to be DUPA. At least they're clean....

Morning all
Bit of a restless night here, but I am up, wm is on and a short yoga session done. Paid stuff from home today, it looks like a dry day for once so I am hoping to get out for a walk later. I had a weird anxiety thing going on last time I went walking on my own so I need to conquer this for my own sanity.
I also need to make sure DS rings the hospital about treatment on Monday, and we need to book the car in for MOT and service - hoping DH will do that.
I am working tomorrow so need to make sure the house is reasonably clean and tidy.
Hope the list writing helps Pigpen, you have a lot on your plate x9 -
Piggers is there a school with an Autism unit?Could your mother not give £10 cash as a gift? Thus allowing smaller ones especially to plan their own shopping or saving and thus relieving you of finding 22 gifts?Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Morning xx
I did go back to sleep eventually and had a bad dream which involved driving an erratic car on a quay side and a very large spider. 😳
Anyhoo. I'm up, made my bed and had a brew. Counsellor is due to ring me at 8.30. So I'll get that over with first.
To Do Today (in no particular order)
Get dressed
Write & deliver D's birthday card
Check up on Pops (phone call)
Feed the birds
Put out the recycling
Put away the washed pots
Declutter / put away 1 item (every little helps)
To Do Sometime
Make a list of birthday and Christmas cards / presents that I still need to get.
Write December birthday cards and put posting dates on calendar
Write Christmas cards
Get cs donations out of the house
27th - pick up my prescription
Oh, month end, pay C Tax on Monday.
Pay rent
BD is half asleep at the moment - it comes in waves.
Now I can follow my list without having to think what next? when I'm in a fog.
Have a good day

Left hosp at 4, back now.
Shes currently having obs in the frailty unit.
Remembers I’m granddaughter (after prompting) but doesn’t remember anything about me (asked me if I was married or had kids)
She seems in good spirits.
Hoping that after assessment we can get a 24 hour care plan in place. She needs constant monitoring, no way can she go home on her own.Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!
