    At 10kw an hour your electric shower would cost you £4.70 an hour, so even a 20 min shower is costing over £1.50. 
    Maybe you could get rid of the electric shower?

    Apart from OP not having one, surely 10kWh costs more in the region of £3.40.  Still expensive, of course, but also moot for the OP.

    Apart from OP not having one, surely 10kWh costs more in the region of £3.40.  Still expensive, of course, but also moot for the OP.
    From the OPs daytime tariff that is what it would be, 47p a kWh. But yes generally on the price cap it would be £3.40. It really is Crazy prices just to shower!!
