Thank you. I have followed your advise! I have sent them an email this morning, later i have called the CCBC to find out if dcb has taken any strange steps that have allowed them to keep the money. The CCBC agent(s) told me that there are no additional information about my case and suggested to call dcb directly as it could be a tech error from any of the sides. So i did.Umkomaas said:Umkomaas said:
Always in writing. There are no records of phone calls.JacksSon said:Update:
I have not received the rest of the money 1600 and also they have not sent me the claim.
Shall i give them a call tomorrow?JacksSon said:Hi everyone!
So i have called ccbc (case been transferred back) and couldn't get an answer.
Gave a phone call to dcblegal. Asked where is my claim and money. I've been told that i should seek independent advisor on that matter.
Strange, no correspondence from their side in the last 2 weeks that would give an explanation.
I'm thinking of sending a bailiff to their office. Would you think that is an appropriate step?
(Also i have emailed them this morning with the same reason: money, claim)You asked for advice, I gave you the best advice, you thanked me for it, then did the opposite. 🤦♂️ This has now become too serious a matter for phone calls.
15 min ago (this evening) i have received an email from DCBL where they explained that:
the original 1600 were refunded back to the original bank account. They (dcbL) have decided to do that without telling me. The original account belongs to a limited company where i was holding some cash, and had to use that account to pay bailiff (last year). I was not aware of it until they have told me (even the software that i'm using for payroll did not recognised that transaction).
Also they have attached the claim to that email, without evidence.
In respect to you umkomaas, i have followed your advice. Send a letter but the response was a bit late
I really appreciate your input.
Many many thanks3 -

OK so you now must email that defence in time. See the template defence thread including CEL v Chan, as linked there.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you for great help.Coupon-mad said:Don't know!
You have the court Order. Read it again.
It'll state your deadline to email a defence to DCB Legal and the court. You've waited TWO WEEKS to reply to me so I hope you haven't missed your court deadline.
