Decided to load shift before hand and between 1pm and 4pm I used 6.76kWh.Between 5-7 I used 0.04kWhWill be interested to see how this pans out!0

I managed to use 10.3kWh between 1-4 and only 0.02kWh 5-7. The full formula was a bit too much maths for my brain, so I'll wait and see.Barnsley, South Yorkshire
Solar PV 5.25kWp SW facing (14 x 375) installed Mar 22

I thought this pair of graphs from https://gridwatch.co.uk/ interesting.
The teatime peak almost entirely disappeared today, but the min demand was perhaps ~3GW higher to start with.
I am also intrigued by the missing chunk just after 6pm. Looks like the French interconnectors switched from import to export for 20 minutes.
Edit to add the graphs!
4.3kW PV, 3.6kW inverter. Octopus Agile import, gas Tracker. Zoe. Ripple x 3. Cheshire0 -
The balancing mechanism (Elexon) disagrees with you:

Still a noticeable peak.
There is also no significant change in either the generation output or the interconnector flows, apart from a small reduction in import from Belgium (black curve).

Which is odd, because Gridwatch claim they get their data directly from Elexon.

If you used 6.76kWh between those 3 hours, your IDA will be 1.12kWh (Total kWh consumed in measurement period, divided by 6), so (I think, rough maths) that should be something around £10 for yesterday.powerful_Rogue said:razord said:I got my IDA up to 3.6535 kWh today. Will vary a bit based on what you *usually* use between 1-4pm (that's taken off of the IDA) - and obviously a small amount based on what you usually use between 5-7pm too.2 -
What's the useage compared against? Only Monday 1-4pm for the past 2 weeks? Or is it averaged over every week day for the same time period?razord said:

The last 10 weekdays which weren't also a saving session day, specifically that is: 2022-11-24, 2022-11-25, 2022-11-28, 2022-11-29, 2022-12-02, 2022-12-05, 2022-12-06, 2022-12-07, 2022-12-08, 2022-12-09dn852k4 said:

It's the previous 10 weekdays excluding days with savings sessions. So your IDA is the increase on your average usage (for each of the six 30 minute reference slots).dn852k4 said:

I read it slightly differently - as in "take the last ten weekdays and then remove any that were saving sessions, but don't add in extra weekdays to make it up to ten".razord said:

The chart makes it pretty clear that you keep going back to get to 10 valid days; so long as those 10 days are in the last 60 days (which unless we end up with like 30 saving sessions in 2 months, we won't need to worry about exceeding!)Deleted_User said:
