And there isn't even 1GW of wind forecast. Wind generation forecast for tomorrow all day is about 900MW, so we'll be relying on other generations + imports. France nuclear stations still offline so there's a concern they won't be able to generate any excess for the UK because of the cold weather.
  • Today export is £1.10 at 16:30, time to set the batteries to export... I'm suprised there isn't a session today..

Coincidental. I got exactly double the points that I got last time. So with £1.38 total to date I'm well on the way to that £100 that they talk of.. haha!

I managed to save 100% during last week’s session, earning 4p! However we did export just over 1kWh, so earned an extra 40p.
    6.4kWp (16 * 400Wp REC Alpha) facing ESE + 5kW Huawei inverter + 10kWh Huawei battery. Buckinghamshire.

It's not happening tomorrow during the football as was suggested. Just heard on the radio.

That's good news for the grid, even if it's bad news for avid moneysavers :)
I'm not going to start planning an early retirement based on my Octopoints:

Guys, I've studied the formulas used and the average from the 10 working days before the event is cancelled out when the inday adjustment is factored in. SO use as much power as you can safely without tripping your breakers in the three hours finishing one hour before the session. Put immersion on, put fan heaters on, put washer and dishwasher on, do a hygiene wash, get some tumble drying done, plug that electric car in, make cheese on toast under the grill and leave it on for an hour. Just go nuts, but this is assuming you are on a low tariff like I am at 18p per kwh until July next year.  If so you will makeback well over four times what you spend. CRAZY but true, and technically you are still helping the grid!!!!
