I've made a spreadsheet and used my consumption data from the loop app and I cant get results anywhere near what I received.
Has anyone made a spreadsheet that has come close to veryfying the formula they are supposed to be using??0 -

Read this guys, it explains a lot. Especially about the testing, 4 1 hour period in 1st month then one more each month totalling 8 (not 12 as I originally put).

Just checked my account and I managed to reduce my electric use by 79%
So that's £1.40
A lot better than the first session, So it will have to be family walk time when it's a saver session0 -
Looks like the scheme will be implemented "for real" tomorrow to avoid a supply crunch according to The Telegraph:
In a notice published to the market at 10am today, National Grid said: "An anticipated DFS requirement has been published for tomorrow - Tuesday 29/11/2022.
"This is an indication that a DFS service requirement might be published today at 14:30."

As I have said before I would only save any electric if I turned everything off at the wall socket as I cut my usage of electric and gas to the bone over a year ago. The gas saving they did last year showed me I could save 80% on my winter gas bills. All this will do is try and encourage people to switch off appliances they aren't using at the wall socket but some won't bother at all, as they think it's too much effort to go to the wall and flick a switch to turn the electric supply on to an appliance.Someone please tell me what money is0

I suspect that tomorrow's (29th) demand and savings effort maybe due to the World Cup match between England and Wales in the evening. Perhaps the National Grid expect large spikes in demand with TVs, kettles etc between 18:30 and 21:00.0
