Morning all
Downstairs loo was cleaned last night as I headed to bed. First load of washing on, breakfast cooked and scoffed. Morning pet chores done and now I need to get ready to go meet the run coach.

Sorry, Valli. I must have finished the biscuits at 2.30am - my new 6am, it seems. Thank goodness ASB was on hand with lemon drizzle….I should have waited.
Off to be jabbed shortly. DH is taking me as we are then going into the depths of the countryside to explore a new to us farm shop. This seems to be a big deal for me - people, narrow roads and unknown place all in the space of probably 20 minutes. And no doubt, a very challenging game of freezer tetris will follow, as there is literally No Space!! But DH has been lured with the thought of meat, so we will see.
I need to whizz the vacuum cleaner around this weekend, and my intentions include planting some herb seeds indoors and possibly making a small Christmas pudding.
DH has been despatched to the post office - all flylady offerings are hopefully on their way. Quite proud of my efficiency there!
Have a lovely day all x8 -
Dance class done.. Dot was a turnip.. Pixie stayed home with her germs.
OH has just take Twinkle off to her swimming lesson.
I am freezing and cannot get warm.
Hazel is still hanging on.. she is happy when she is awake but rarely awake, I'm just keeping her warm and feeding her bits when she asks.. fussing her whenever she wants and making sure everyone is careful when she is ooching about. She is so thin and wobbly it wouldn't take much to really hurt her. I think Monday may be the day.I have washing to do.. but it's too cold.I have a corner of doom to sort.. but it's too cold..
Actually.. I will go close the cat window.. that might help!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)8 -
I made a lemon cake today if anyone needs any.....and there's lots of quorn chilli and rice left.....2x2 meals portioned up ready for the freezer and enough for tomorrow's dinner too. Plenty of blackberry and apple crisp pudding also.
- went for a lake swim
- quick couple of items from Mr T that oddly filled a basket
- filled car with petrol
- vacuumed downstairs
- fine tuned food for guests
- Mr N and friends put the fence panel up; fitted straight away which meant it was a 5 minute job, unlike the last one they did which needed cutting down.
- did a bit of a report
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.9 -
Morning all.
Just having first cuppa of the day. Poppet and I are up but DH is still in bed.
I'll flutter this morning before our dog walk then probably read this afternoon before DGD2 arrives for her sleepover.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Morning everyone. Another beautiful sunny day here today - I hope it lasts
Rosie enjoyed her walk with the dog walker and canine friends yesterday. I was expecting her to be out for an hour, but it was almost 2 hours before they got back, having walked about 5km, including all round the big wood. No wonder she was tired by lunchtime!
Various jobs were progressed or even completed yesterday, and today I have a birthday cake to deliver to DS1 who will be 49tomorrow.
See you all later on the new thread xxx

Morning all,
Carp night in the WAC following yesterday’s jabbing. I had the same reaction as DD and DSis, so I wasn’t really surprised. Then I had such a deep sleep that I didn’t emerge until gone 9am. Still feeling groggy, but onwards and upwards.
HHI cleared, wm on, I have the duster in hand to tackle the LR as the morning sun is showing up the depth of the dust. DH is tasked with dragging our cases from the loft for our upcoming weekend away with friends. DH has said that he will vacuum the LR. This will involve hanging out the flags, as I’m not actually sure that he knows where the vacuum cleaner is kept…9 -
I'm suffering today, bf is up in the loft replacing the insulation.
The disturbed dust & whotnot is swirling in the air and making a direct bee line to my sinuses. I think I may sneeze myself into a hernia.
I have to do a water change on the axo tank today, and vacuum the Zoo Room. (Bf is currently holding the vacuum hostage upstairs, at least he cleans up after his diy).
I have a guy coming round tonight to buy a scorpling, so that's one less mouth I'll have to feed. I did rehouse mum into a nice big bio-active enclosure last night, so she has plenty to scuttle around and over.
Depending on what time blokey is round, tonight I may also attempt a pairing of my hamorii 'Ember', and 'Mexican Moses' who I picked up at the invert show, and is on loan for such purposes. He has sucessfully bred before, so hopefully has the skills to woo my girl.

Belovéd did the vacuuming and I spent about an hour in the attic, finding things to bring down, sorting out a pile of gibble to go to a CS and then tidying up. It all looks a lot better.I think it's time I spent a decent chunk of time up there going through the piles of paperwork that have been up there for about 20 - 30 years. I very rarely need anything in those piles but occasionally have, such as an old life assurance policy (having been told by my retiring solicitor that there was nothing in her heap that needed to be kept - wrong!) and a Completion Certificate for some building work we had done at the chalet. Without those two bits of paper life would have been quite a bit more complicated than it was with them. BUT I can't need as much as I've kept of everything else; it's just a question of working out what's really important.See you on the other side.Better is good enough.8

Water tank change done.
Frog, snail, roach and mantis enclosure glass have been cleaned.
Zoo room vacuumed and bathroom cleaned.
Blokey will be coming round in about 45 mins, so I think I'll squeeze in a session on the sax.
Not sure if I'll have time to pair the tarantulas tonight, it's something that can take hours.
