Mama, Penny2MyName Your Easter snowy views are better than we got here, unfortunately. DD was desperate to go outside and make snowmen but the snow was already melting before 9am (and not very deep before that).
She's having a right mardy day today. She is normally quite nice - honestly - but she upset me today by throwing her dinner plate on the floor after I'd spent ages chopping up lovely roast beef into tiny 2-year-old sized pieces.
Then she fell asleep at the dinner table - which is great - but then woke up on the way up to bed and had a tantrum about not being tired.
If I hear correctly she's back downstairs mithering her mother in the kitchen.
Do/did other people's children moan so much that they make themselves cough like anything and then (first time today) be sick? Is that normal? I expect it is
I hope everyone else is having a great Easter Sunday.0 -

Wow, I'm so jealous of the snow you guys have!
Had to have the tooth taken out yesterday, it was a wisdom tooth so I figure that it isn't that important. Hurts so much  We had to travel to a town we don't often visit, so my mum and I went to the Tesco there to bargain hunt afterwards (I'm sure I looked charming  ). We found a lot of BOGOF deals, and I got some relatively cheap petrol. My mum was quite impressed with my new found DFW skills. Off to update my signature with the new spending. I've got my first mystery shopping appointment this week apparentlySo I'll be able to offset some of the spending.

What a coincidence Penny, DH and I also made a snow Easter Bunny today in the park! I like the way you used the muddy snow to make a burrow and a little egg. This was ours:
It's difficult to see but there is a basket with snow eggs to the left of the picture. It was just a bit smaller than me.~ Lexie ~The Minimoilist.Saving money and the planet at the same time.0 -
Hello all.... remember me lol
omg ive been soooo busy with the move, my internet was really late in being connected (was only re connected a few days ago) boys were all ill and on anti' bs and then my littleist one had a second lot then i ahd it (and i wont bore you anymore)
ive been quite good! im not counting some things ie new bits ive brought for this house or the fact we had takeaways for a week whilst a cooker was being sorted
but im back now and in full tight wad mode, getting a freezer later this week so that will put me right back on track, hardest thing is lack of storage in the house so nothing will be got in bulk even if at super prices.
ive got ALOT of catching up to doDFW nerd club number 039'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' :money: i will be debt free aug 2010

Hello all,
I am back from London. It was great trip but as a result (petrol bill  ) I am now over my March budget. My grocery budget is still ok but it has been eaten by me feeding my car so well. Also need a bag of dog food very soon so there will be lots of catching up to do in the future. Hopefully in April I will be wiser and manage to shop even more carefully.
Also due to the trip LO was tired today and had an extra nap and is now awake wanting to have some joghurt and chocolate eggs. She will get the first but not the second.
I have read all the posts but can't remember a thing I was going to say. SO I just say thank you all for your posts. Lovely weather today in between rain. Managed to get my troops out for a really nice walk without getting soaked.
Need to go and get LO sorted and then need to clean my piggies before heading to bed myself. Does anybody else think that this is one heck of a long month? At least I can manage to do some more chargable hours before the end of the month so that I can pay my C tax bill (they kindly sent me a bill for last seven months in one go, my fault as I didn't inform them early enough of having moved here.)

PS Started my own personal challenge of how long I can keep a tenner in my purse before I use it. It has been there now since Friday."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."
