    I'll second that!!!

My bread maker has been on the go all weekend making hm loaves, hot cross buns, pizza base and the dough for the iced fingers.

My FIL and MIL loved the pizza base and were most impressed - DS spent lunchtime and teatime telling them how cheap everything was. What with the hm prezzies (cookies and bath bombs) I don't know how long it will be before they ask DH if we have money problems :rotfl:

With the hm made chocolate cake, cookies and millionaire's shortcake, my waistline took a real hit yesterday. Back on the wagon today (if I can avoid the Easter Eggs - oh, how I love chocoate :o

Ok. So what has happened to the little Good Luck Fairy that should be perched on my shoulder

Yesterday...First, my beloved laptop died a sudden death
Then, while attempting to replace blown lightbulb in the bathroom, DH dropped his false teeth which shattered :rotfl:
Then, drove to work and discovered one of my ladies very poorly so didn't get home until really late.
And finally, forgot to put remainder of huge roast pork joint in fridge and 3 ravenous cats sitting with smug faces this morning  DH says we could have "Cat on a Spit" for lunch ;)

Is that all do you think

I am using main PC which is in unheated room so have the beginnings of frostbite in finger ends.

I am going to spend the day curled up in front of the TV with fingers crossed, garlic around neck and 4 leaf clovers behind ears....until I have to go to work again tonight.

Good news though. Will not be spending anything today and didn't yesterday. But will need to face all the bills this week and update signature.

Words just can't express how you must be feeling.

I do agree with OH, I think you should eat the cats, think of the savings on cat food, vets fees, and it's only fair, they did eat the pork.

You could also use the fur to make mittens, new false teeth for OH, and perhaps little lucky cats paws on key rings to improve your luck in the future.

Have to admit, I cant take the credit for the snow bunny and burrow, as it was my DD (13) that made it.

Janey sounds like today you need that luck fairy back. Hugs hun, we all know your strong enough to entice the little critter back.

Janey - Do you think this icon :A could stand in for the missing fairy? If so, I'm sending it over now. Let me know if it gets there.
As for the cats....that's between you and your conscience.

To get rid of the question mark in subject line, click "edit" on your post, then "go advanced" then "no icon" under the text box. :D

I'm still in shock because a friend called me effeminate the other day for being upset by DD throwing her dinner on the floor.

Then today I've spent ages cutting up leftover roast beef to marinade it to make some chinese beef tomorrow. Maybe she's got a point?

    Thanks, MarkyMark, that's sorted it!
I wouldn't worry about what your friend said - life's too short to spend it living up to other people's weird preconceived ideas...Have a beer..but only in a manly sort of glass :D - like these:beer:
