Morning all. Hope you're all ok today.
I'm just having a cuppa. Poppet is fed. DH and DGD1 are both still in bed.
I may put some washing in the machine today but think that will be about it.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.9 -

WM x 3, forecast is good for the weekend so I’m hoping to get it line dried.
Also hoping to get bedrooms prepped as we are having new carpets on Thursday. First new carpets since we moved here.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Hi all
Funny old day, just felt like I wanted to stay in bed with the covers pulled over my head, however that is not an option.
Went into town for a couple of bits of shopping, changed my library books. Some weeding done, there is a bit more to do. Washing out, some is still damp so can stay out. Bit of a tidy around, need to get the hoover out at some point.
That doesnt sound a lot but I feel like I have been busy!10 -
Lake swim done.
2 sections of wardrobe sorted and nearly 2 bags for CS.
A ton of dust vacuumed up.
2 new bedside lamps purchased for spare room.
Bit of financial paperwork sorted, not sure what the advisor will want on Monday.
Visa card paid.
Bit of garden clearing done.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.8 -
Washing didn’t get dry on line, but it was dry enough to iron and air so I did and it is.
Most of day wasted queueing online for tickets. Didn’t get any.

Didn't get to DD1's.. but there is always tomorrow.. or Monday.
We did buy Tesc0 and sorted a bunch of stocking fillers and 6 advent calendars.. I need 3 more for small bodies.
Another load through the DW
Larder unit 2/3rds emptied and scrubbed.
I did get carried away and clean the kallax unit, the skirting and dado in the hallway, the walls up the stairs and hallway where people rub their filthy mitts, the wall along the landing the the bathroom and I made DS2 clean the kn0b.. it was disgusting... it is now shiny. A few lightswitches and the gas meter and its cupboard.
I need another box to fill with stuff from larder unit. I also filled another 1/2 binbag. That is a huge amount of stuff binned there!
I also bruised the backof my arm by getting it stuck inside the kallax unit while scrubbing.
I fed everyone.. Dot refused to eat because 'we have pizza on Saturday' ... *sigh* ...
I made Moomin cry.. Hazel is going to need a 1 way trip to the vet in the next couple of weeks. She is nearly 15, she has been loved and it is almost time for that final act of love and compassion and it is killing us.
DS1 is having another mental health crisis.. how do you get through to someone they need help you cannot give and they need to seek it elsewhere but you will help them get it you just can't do it for them? He had a 1am meltdown and tried ringing CF's mother in the middle of the night.. she has dementia and is medicated because she gets violent at night.. and he rang her to rage about her not being interested in them when they were little.. he tried ringing me, I slept through that! .. Then he triggered Tiddles so she is screaming at cf that she hadn't been told Batty Nanna is in fact not who she was.. so drama all round.. and I merrily bleached things..
Tomorrow we are expecting plumber number 5!

Oh Pigpen its the hardest thing, and the state of the NHS doesnt help. Sorry to hear about Hazel too.
I am feeling a bit flat this morning. DHs auto-immune problems are flaring up and its hard seeing him in pain. Selfishly I just really wanted to go out for a long walk or bike ride yesterday but he wasnt up for it and then I feel guilty going on my own. My plan was to go out on the bike first thing this morning but its thick fog so probably not a good idea. I will do an indoors workout instead.
I have given in and put the tumble drier on. I have a load of socks, pants and other bits which shouldnt take long to get dry. My sheets and towels from yesterday are out on the line in the fog so I will have to deal with those later.
I am going to get my self moving. I want to get my Christmas cake in the oven, there are bits of flying that really should be done, and I am going out this afternoon to our remembrance day parade.
Have a good Sunday all x8 -
I hope the new chemo regime goes smoothly, and the laying of new carpets Valli.I'm so sorry your DS is having a flare up YL. It sounds as though you need that bike ride and it would do you the world of good.I'm so sorry your DS is struggling Piggers and that Hazel is coming to the end of the road. It always devastates me, but those last few weeks and days can be the quietest and gentlest, and sometimes the most precious. (((Hugs))),Nothing done here, and especially not the dusting I need to get done for my soul. I've been overdoing it and it's causing side effects I hadn't bargained on. Belovéd has an exceptionally busy but special week workwise next week, so I need to be able to manage more, but with less footsteps. That I can balance, so today is a day of R&R and planning.Better is good enough.9
