Glad that the bed went where you wanted it and you didn't have the upheaval of making one of the downstairs rooms into a bedroom. Dog walkers sound a good idea. Anything to take the pressure off you a bit. Take care xx

Sounds promising about your mum coming home. Is the being in bed thing just until she’s more mobile?I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Glad they managed to get the bed in, how long are they expecting her to have to use it? I’m assuming she’ll be having lots of physio, will there be carers coming in or is it down to you? Sounds like a lot to deal with. Hope work are being sympathetic.1

Hello everyone
Mum hasn't come home yet. She has lost a stone in weight and is frail and now, miserable - which is leading to her not eating so it has been an awful few days. Yesterday was quite good but today not so much. I am just crunched up with fear all the time.
I am also spending too much.
and cold. And have a TONNE of stuff to do.
But I took tonight off, have taken cold and flu tablets and am off to bed.Nevertheless she persisted.4 -

Hope things start to improve soon. (((hugs))) XI Believe.....

Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
