No address for ex, therefore no hope of maintenance.

He works shifts but gets paid £60k a year! Wow, what job does he do? No wonder you want your child to benefit from that.
Also, how do you know he had a car accident and had to change his car a few weeks ago? You seem to know everything about him EXCEPT where he lives!0 -
No big mystery. Yes, he works shifts and gets paid well.
No idea if he has changed his car but I know he had an accident 2 weeks ago because it is on the insurance renewal document which came to my home.0 -
Hope you sent the renewal back to the company marked "not at this address"Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)1

National insurance number is how CMS/HMRC and universal credit work all interlinked together.
HMRC report to UC and CMS every single month what a person earns, to all them to use for their assessments.
Either he’s not working or self employed and not declaring, otherwise he’s be assessed in an inst.
Doesn't the insurance details not show his employment status?0 -
DWP can't do anything without notifying him that he is liable for child maintenance.
They rang me at the weekend to see if I had any update on his address. They have written to him c/o his employer but can't do anything else.
Once they are able to officially notify him, then if he doesn't pay, they can take the money direct from his wages. Until then, they can't take any money unfortunately.1 -
Any employment he has earning up to £60k, you said, will be registered within HMRC, they will have an address.
HMRC inform universal credit and CMS every month to work out what is to be paid out.
If CMS are saying they can’t get his address from HMRC, go to your county court and ask for his address to be declared, not to you but to CMS, that’s what I had to do.0 -
You don't seem to get that he has everything still registered to our home address. Everything!
So his address with work, DVLA, HMRC, DWP, car insurance, breakdown cover, doctor is still my address even though it will be a year tomorrow since he lived here.0 -
And have you informed anyone that he's no longer resident? As I mentioned earlier not updating his details with dvla is an offence. His car insurance would care he's provided a false address. etc etc.1

Do you have an address for his parents? You could see if the CMS would send them there as a c/o address. If not you will have to ask a court to get him to provide his correct address to them for them to pass onto the CMS.LBM Debt Total : £48,326.50

He has no living family here so that is a non-starter.
I am going to write to both the DVLA and his insurance company. I have sent letters back saying no longer at this address.0
