Hi all,
I forgot to post yesterday, read some posts, took a break and then meant to come back to finish.
Yesterday I made 5 jars of saurkraut, 3 different types and got a venison casserole in the slow cooker, 2 portions in the freezer. I had a bit of a stock-up on oil and vinegar, salt, and such in the supermarket, the coffee shelf was decimated. So only bought one packet.
Grateful (yesterday), for the Crown to catch up on and keep me company ahead of the new series, having borrowed an old apple watch - greatful for deciding I don't want one - I can stop coveting, and delish leftovers.

Hey hey!! Happy Sunday turtles!Yesterday was not an NSD so I am sticking on 2. Got up, Food shop in Herr Lid and Herr Ald, Dr appt, home for coffee with DH -who was up by then - and in to work on the bus at 10.20.Work was busy, clothes were all over the floor, and everything else was all over the place. At the end of the day, the store looks like it has been assaulted by barbarians. Madness!! But the people I work with are nice, there are loads of kids, and you can have a laugh. They are all frantically C-word shopping, which I find bizarre - I have plans to raid the charity shops on Monday - it has been a few weeks since I last trawled. I will keep an eye open at work for stocking fillers on absolute last reductions.
Even if it means going in 20 minutes early for a quick sift through. Which is going to be shocking for my NSDs though.
The bl00dy awful modern artist C-word music they play in the shop will not do anything for getting my ho-ho-ho on... and I thought Mariah Carey and Celine Dion wailing their faces off was bad. Or maybe it is because it is on an hour long loop and I can hear it up to 9 times a day.... either way, just 'urgh!'Gratitudes:Hooray for cup soups! they sit in my bag, and save me going to the Gr0ggs opposite on my break. They have also dropped me under the 13stone barrier again. Quite fancy being under 12 for C-mas. It might even happen this timeI have a c/s dress I would like to wear. Hmm, another mini-challenge, we have 8 weeks left (today) of the year, 7 weeks until C-Day. Being in budget, and nobody having bugg3red up my beautiful well ordered pantry.
Ungratitudes: the roofer booked in to come and have a look obviously drove past, developed a fear of heights, and never rung the doorbell.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Morning all,
Gorgeous hour-long walk with the beautiful pooch this morning, we're so lucky to live where we do! Hopefully, this will break the yoga and exercise drought. It really needs to...weighed myself this morning and I'm now heavier than I was full term with my second child! Argh!
Still on 2 NSDs, 2 AF days, 1 choc free day. Not so good on the veg front but that's because DH and I went for a cheap breakfast in between running the kids to their respective part-time jobs. Had Jamie O's scruffy lasagne from his £1 meals show this week. It was nice but way too cheesy for me. Will have to reduce the portion sizes down and pair it with something else to keep calories down from now on.
Grateful for all we've achieved since being more focussed on our finances, and finally finding the motivation to get out for a walk.

I'll do a proper catch up later. But just wanted to show off the present I made for my friend based on her artwork.I've been sick the last couple of days, so haven't felt up to posting.
Came out so much better than I could have hoped! I just need to get my pink pen tomorrow to finish off the mouth, but here it is. (Sorry about the size, it won't let me resize it )

Afternoon turtles
The weather here is grim today! I was meant to go horse riding first thing but the rain was coming down so we cancelled. Drove up there later to see pony and give him some attention. Lots of flooded roads near me, not something that usually happens.
Bought some fruit and veg, then came home and batch cooked some lunches and dinners for the coming week. Did a load of washing so have finally caught up with that. Noticing things are taking longer to dry so might need to put the heating on to help thingd along. Have dyed my hair and eyelashes and ready to relax, and ready for work.11 -
@f0xh0les I used to work in NxT and the constant replaying of Christmas songs sent me batty… sucked the festive spirit out of me some days.OH, DS, and I have taken today at a slow pace. We’re all suffering from sniffs, sneezes, and sore throats.Staying on NSD 2 because after a short walk along the local river we nipped into eM&eS to buy some fancy bread and cheese… headed home for lunch at ‘Dad’s Cafe’. On the menu today was red pepper soup and cheese toasties, and some treats left over from Halloween.I also did a washing, hung up a washing, put away a washing, did an ironing (school clothes only), and cleaned the kitchen.
Sunday Sweeps have been high this week due to OH working from home. I’ve set myself up with new savings rules for underspends and unexpected cash:
Spare cash🍎 Food (underspends) MORTGAGE OP🚙 Transport (underspends) HOLS☀️ Leisure (underspends) HOLS💵 Online earnings (e.g TCashback, Vinted) MORTGAGE OP🥳 Unexpected income (refunds, gifts) MORTGAGE OPI’ve been slumped on the couch for the last couple of hours watching a Diznay film… the remake of Pete’s Dragon… thoroughly enjoyed it. OH is now making dinner for himself and DS - I am still full up from lunch.Grateful for a routine-free day, for OH making a tasty lunch, and for paracetamol.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸11 -
Thank you @apple_muncher - the debt...will be all gone on Black Friday too
So I am not very sure I like being a manager, it's fine when it's fine, but when it's not, it is challenging! Been working today to try and catch up. Worked a good 6 hours - did one of the 3 things I wanted to get done.
Grateful for getting my chores done, making nice food, and a rainbow.

f0xholes. I worked in xmas part of Marks evenings. Played 1 Christmas advert record all night 3 1/2 hrs of torture.
Did food shop today only £46 spend as shocked at prices so didn't buy everything I wanted. How can justify increases on some products its nuts.
Big River company annual fee of £95 hit my cc today. Gutted was going to cancel but do use convert surveys into amazon vouchers and use it fair bit postage plus music and films.
Made a roast dinner for a change usually not bothered lately as just me at home, really enjoyed it and no cooking tomorrow.
Grateful for
